My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am originally from West Africa. After spending a few years living in NYC, I have recently moved back to Central Jersey. I am a double major in college (Economics and Political Science with a minor in math). Forget the previous sentence. I'm a math major now (scary, huh?) I am very motivated and driven, yet can also be an extremely relaxed person and a pleasure to get to know, hopefully... :P

I tend to be a bit of a dare devil and adrenaline junkie. I am also very well travelled. So, If you are looking for someone to take a risk with or share a new experience, let's do it! Life is short and better fully lived. What better way to do that than meet a bunch of random people on the internet who may or may not be stalkers and serial killers? :D If you happen to be a serial killer and are looking for a partner in crime, I'll have you know that my hole digging skills aren't too shabby. Just kidding... Or am I? I am also quite the weirdo so, if we spend time together, it ought to be memorable. :)

I enjoy wandering and have spent most of my life doing so. I'm not sure if this has been to my benefit or detriment, but it sure has been interesting. I tend to be drawn to small crawl spaces that eventually lead to wide open sky. And books. Love books. And bookstores. However, I strongly dislike ebooks and eBook readers. There is just something so wonderful and authentic about being able to feel, smell, manipulate, and even taste (if you really want to) what you are reading.

I am also a strong Christian and love God very much! I am very accepting and loving towards everyone..God's primary message was love. However, if my Christianity somehow really turns you off, I doubt we could be very good friends lol. So, I guess it's pretty much dependent upon you whether or not we get along. :P

I'm looking for coffee shop buddies, writing partners, engineering students to bounce ideas off, people who dress up just because, at least one person who will try to beatbox to my horrible rap attempts, someone who can teach me to fix transmission problems, anyone who wanted to be a soccer star as a kid, anyone who wanted to be a soccer ball as a kid, people who want to make tiny fires in the backyard with me just to watch things burn, fellow adventure warriors, and someone to kick back and laugh at some old Calvin and Hobbes with. Don't worry I'm not in here because I can't make friends in real life lol. I have friends, but one of the joys of life is meeting interesting people :).

I am not in a rush to date or be in a relationship. This does not mean that I am afraid of commitment or plan to "friend-zone" you lol. However, I believe most of the best romantic relationships begin as platonic friendships or at least are not rushed into. I believe that dating and relationships should not be as difficult and complicated as they appear. The key is waiting for what is right. After all, it is a common saying that "good things come to those who wait." I'm willing to wait for a good guy who respects my opinions and beliefs, is patient and caring , has strong personal beliefs and moral character, laughs with me (and maybe at me at times), has a brilliant mind and passion for his work and hobbies, is willing to be my constant confidant and best friend, will not be quick to bail if the going gets tough, will eventually love me more than both he and I can imagine (scary thought, I know ;P) , and expects all the same of me. All of the other little details will fall into place. But, until it's apparent you're "the one" ;P... let's just walk through the woods to dig up old time capsules, build something that may or may not be aerodynamic, play monopoly for way too long, and steal swings from kids on playgrounds. ;)

I also have a very special place in my heart for rugged, earthy people. So, if you drive an off road car (or sunflower oil powered hippie car ;) or only ride bikes, a skateboard, scooter, unicycle, a baby tricycle, and some other wheeled contraption you built last winter in your garage), are full to the brim with wanderlust, love extreme sports, love to camp/hike/bike/swim/climb/spend days in the dessert/beach/jungle/forest, etc... Let's get together to dance around a campfire and exchange backpacking stories ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
If that "Christianity really bugs me" clause applies to you, I'd turn around now... lol.

Loving Jesus with all of my heart and learning how to submit to His will (this is not always easy lol). Recently, I have become a lot stronger in my faith and am growing everyday. As a result, I really decided to stop doing my own thing and let God direct my life. ...boy did He derail me and set me on a new track! Something pretty strange and exciting. Maybe we'll talk about it someday. So, now I'm just trusting it will be for my good and His glory. :)

Re-learning how to ride a bike. It is such a lie that you can't forget. I forgot... I know it sounds pathetic, but I did. Don't judge me! Lol

^update on the bike riding... Success!

I am also learning how to snowboard. I'm so sporty ;P

^update: doing very well here!

Now, learning to code!

So... Basically I am always just learning lol.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Forgetting people's names. It is not uncommon for me to ask someone to repeat their name to me 5 minutes after being told. The worst in my track record was probably with this one guy I met on the bus. It went a bit like this:
Me: talk, talk, talk, talk, talk...
Guy: Oh by the way my name is Jacob
Me: Lovely to meet you Jacob
I turn around to get something in my bag pertaining to the conversation and turn back
Me: Wait... What was your name again??

So don't feel bad if I ask you for your name again (and again, and again) :P

I believe it would have to be my smile. Weird Story: Once a guy followed me about two city blocks to tell me I had a beautiful smile (I was running away from him once I realized he was following me, but it turned out to be a harmless compliment lol).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

When it comes to books, I will read almost anything, but my favorites are legal thrillers, espionage, sci-fi, autobiography/ memoirs, anything on economics, anything about social justice or social entrepreneurship, interesting history, and basically anything I have not read before lol. Oh and I can't forget my bible! :D

Movies: I love avant-garde, cult classics, psychological thrillers, and anything else really cerebral

Shows: I love going out to a good show. My preference would be a musical or something like cirque du soleil

Oh... Did they mean TV shows? I really don't watch too much of that box that comes with a remote. Does C-SPAN count? O_o

Honestly, I listen to every genre of music, except death metal (I did have a phase in middle school though) and gangster rap. I love going to music festivals and dancing (I can be a bit of a rave girl at times and love costumes). NPR counts as music, right?

Food: one word. Spicy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Freedom of thought and speech
Warm summer nights
Being close to coast line
Other people to share life with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not I should let my flatmate beat me at banagrams once out of pity or just soullessly crush her word-forming self confidence time and time again in speed psuedo-scrabble. (Update: No longer living with my flatmate. Never had mercy on her >;] )

Why so many men on here are obsessed with heels and associate them with femininity. Don't you know that those things ruin women's ankles? Don't get me wrong, I will wear heel to an upscale event or every now and then, but a solid pair of riding boots, or Tom's slip ons really do it for me. Comfort over ankle damage any day!

How hilarious it is that some people think being an OKC moderator is prestigious. Dude, almost everyone is a moderator!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Making horribly corny jokes.

Sometimes I confuse my rights and lefts ;P

I really like nerdy people. I am much more attracted to intelligence than physical appearance. Not the "I am moderately smart and wear these glasses because they provide a nice contrast to my 20 pack abs and make me look sensitive" poser type of nerd. Sorry, I took it there... ;) . However, if you major in quantum physics, spend your free time making aerogels, have rewired your toaster to make the perfect toast in one go, your best friend is your home engineered robot Steve (who also makes great toast), or spend your Friday nights fine tuning your formula quantifying how much true happiness one person can provide another (and would like to test it with me ;P). Please message me. It's people like you that make the world go 'round. Well not exactly... But at least you can track its rotation and predict when it aught to stop spinning ;)

Or you don't. Eh... I'll take what I can get ;P
