My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, My name is Aggie. I'm a graphic designer and I'm super stoked to call myself that! I'm very happy I've found my "true calling" as they say. Not that I actually think that people have such things, but I know that this is what I want to spend my life doing.

I have just returned to Norway from living in Perth Australia for the last 4,5 years. Right now I'm visiting family in Narvik for the next couple of months, but onwards I'm aiming to get organised and find myself a job somewhere in one of the "big" cities of Norway. Will probably be Oslo, but we'll see.

I'm into design, making things, discovering music, and meeting fun, interesting and kind people. Emphasis on the kind part. I am very honest and vulnerable, which can be both good and bad. I appreciate personal and good conversations (preferably accompanied by good coffee). I like discovering local artists, be it musicians, illustrators, photographers or something else completely. I care about strengthening and supporting the local culture scene, so I tend to go to market fairs, street festivals, small art exhibitions and the sort. I'll also try to catch a live act every now and then if I can, but I prefer small venues and I'm tired of the stadium type gigs. I think I might be too old for that now :p

Unfortunately I do judge people by their shoes. It's not like I think they are bad people if they have terrible shoes, but I pretty much know that I don't want to date you if you wear running shoes as everyday shoes. Sorry!

I'm a social introvert. Meaning that I really enjoy being social and am quite happy to talk to new people, but I need to have some time alone to recharge afterwards. Lastly, if you're interested in personality types, I am an INFJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making pretty things! Apart from doing my graphics and photography, I also dabble a little in cinematography - it's fun. I also always have a few craft projects going at any time. I just love anything creative. I've been working as a freelancer for the last few years while studying, and it's sort of kept me afloat. Now I'm looking for full-time employment so that I can join the ranks of the grown-up-people. I am In my thirties now, after all.

Right now though the biggest thing for me is my health. Both mental and physical. Over the last few months I've been changing my diet and going to the gym at least 3 times per week. It's been a few months since I made the change, and I'm getting results! I'm very happy and excited about this change in my life, and ideally I'd want to find someone that's into living a healthy lifestyle too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being honest.. some (everyone) may even call it bluntness :p
I am also quite good at design. And organising. Oh and I'm great at learning things fast. I R SMRT!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's usually that I look very young for my age. People tend to think I'm in my early twenties, which is fine by me. I don't feel like what I imagine a thirtysomething should feel like. I'm not at all settled and I've just barely got my shit together!

I've told that I come across quite intimidating on here, but that's just my blunt Norwegianess shining through. I am probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet. I am super cereal, you guys.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love movies. There are too many favorites to mention. I like the ones that challenges you. I also have a thing for bad movies though - you know, the ones that are so bad it's funny. Troll 2 and The room as classics.

All of these TV-shows are really good or really funny:
Six Feet Under, Game of Thrones, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Modern Family, Community, The Office UK, Peep Show, IT Crowd, Spaced, Archer, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Futurama, Simpsons, Bobs Burgers and Parks & Recreation.

I also love documentaries. I watch about one a day, in average. For some reason I'm almost obsessed with Air Crash Investigation and mass murderers. Call it morbid curiosity? Anything by Luis Theroux is great. Also podcasts like This American Life, Radiolab, Nerdist podcast and How Did This Get Made.

Music is sort of important to me, and it ties in with my design world a lot of the time. Bon Iver, Architecture in Helsinki, Radiohead, The National, Bright Eyes, Iron & Wine, The Mountain Goats, Sigur Ros, Mew, Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Damien Rice, Death Cab For Cutie, Explosions in the Sky, Royksopp and the list goes on and on and on. You get the picture.

I do enjoy reading some times. The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson, Freakonomics, She's come undone - Wally Lamb, THGTTG - Douglas Adams, The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold. Would probably read more books if I didn't have the attention span of a puppy.

Favourite foods are sushi and mediterranean food. But I love trying new things. Lately I've really opened my eyes up to vegetarian dishes!

Chocolate milkshakes deserve an honourable mention. I just can't imagine a life without them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good friends. I know it's nothing unique, but they are just really really important to my survival so I felt it needed a mention.
Pretty things - it calms my soul.
Organised surroundings - it calms my mind.
The tools of my trade (Pens, tracing paper, Mac, DSLR camera with 50 mm lens, the internets)
My make-up kit, especially my tweezers. Untamed eyebrows drive me nuts.
A pillow. I do like to snooze.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever project I'm working on at the moment. I have a hard time putting a project to rest until it is completed.

I also think a lot about design in general. Be it what couch I would love to have and what pillows I would put on it, how I'd wish my work space looked, what make-up would go with my new nail-polish, what crafting project I should work towards finishing next and that I should try that tutorial I found the other day.

Other than that, I daydream a lot :)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you can write a genuine and interesting message that proves you've read my profile. I apologise, but "hi how r u" does not tickle my curiosity. And it astonished me how many messages I get with that or a similar opening even after stating right here that I won't respond to that! Geesh! Is it really that much work to read a profile?

So I'm obviously quite picky, and won't be interested if you have a low match score or a 0%. I think the match score is quite important cause it covers all the things that are important in finding a good match.

If you are a little bit more extroverted than me and would like to bring me along to something interesting and fun, like go see a concert, theatre show or an art exhibition.

If you want me to make fun of your terrible attempts at speaking Norwegian.

Lastly, you should message me if you like my profile, because I like it when men make the first move. I'm just old fashioned like that :)
