My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a full-time graphic designer and photographer and I love all things creative. I love painting/making things, working out, reading, traveling (just got back from 5 weeks in New Zealand!), the Oxford comma, and good food.

I love playing with my dog, Oliver, and am a big pet person (except for cats. Too many people in my life are allergic).

I'm really up for most anything. I'd love to go to a wine-tasting, hike in the hill country, or check out a basketball game. I like variety, and usually will try most anything once.

I LOVE to laugh and act like an idiot. Get me around my best friends, and I can laugh about literally nothing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to keep myself entertained. I love learning new skills. I've built furniture, taught myself to sew, made a light fixture, and taken up gardening. I love new experiences always.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Snuggling, knowing random things no one cares about, tripping while standing still, spatial recognition tests, and tricking people into helping me carry heavy stuff.

Also I have an abominably terrible memory about important things, yet I can sing almost any popular radio song written in the 1990s/early 2000s.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually, it's my lack of filter, but I'm vaguely working on that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The Great Gatsby, Sundiata: An Epic of Old Mali, Satchmo (Louis Armstrong's autobiography), Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and a lot of other fluff literature that I'm too embarrassed to mention. ;) Pretty much anything that's well written and holds my attention. I love to read.

I also like this poem a lot:

Shows: Just some of them include Girls, GoT, Doctor Who, Sherlock (the BBC version, of course), Community, New Girl, any Kevin Hart comedy special, OITNB, House of Cards.

Music: Muse, Florence + the Machine, John Mayer, Duffy, Adele, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Barcelona, Janelle Monae, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, The Weepies, La Roux, MGMT, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, Mikky Ekko, Tove Lo, Stromae, Hurts, X Ambassadors, Mumford and Sons, Eminem (I know), Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Kanye... Those are just a few. I really love music and like ALL kinds (classic rock, etc.).

Food: I love eating Paleo/Whole30, but I'm not very good at it unless I'm trying really hard. I feel so much better when I do, but MAN do I love ICEEs. And pasta. Oh and Girl Scout Thin Mints are my jam. I don't enjoy cooking but I do enjoy having healthy & delicious food to eat, so it's a necessary evil. Also I love me some sushi/sashimi.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog, Oliver (it's pretty ridiculous how much I love him)
2. Friends/family
3. Technology
4. Water (I drink a TON of it)/Bathrooms (see previous water consumption habits)
5. Sleep/snuggles
6. Sunlight (vitamin D!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a terrible swimmer. I could PROBABLY swim to save my life, but I have no desire to test that theory. Also I desperately wish I was an amazing hip hop dancer, but it's not meant to be (actually, Shakira, my hips DO lie).

I don't like mustaches. I don't know of a single man, woman, or child who can pull off a mustache and not look weird (Tom Selleck excluded - that man's mustache is a national treasure). And I've seen a few in my time. Prove me wrong!

That doesn't include full beards. Beards are awesome.
