My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
You know, let me preface my enticing profile with this: i hate dogs, I don't believe in god, and I'm pretty queer.
I'm kind of an eccentric gnome. I'm a dancing fool. Most people like me-- I'm easy to talk to and hard to offend. I'm really nice at first, and then i talk a ton of shit when i feel comfortable.
I try to have healthy fulfilling relationships, whatever the specifics. I'm putting my feelers out for people who are down for a bit of commitment to honest and open communication. I'm also putting my feelers out for people who like to dance. I'm also feeling out gardeners. Also, I'm just feelin.

I can be obnoxiously independent at times. I'm all kinds of people and I try to take people as they come at any particular moment. I'm a big fan of wildly diverse behavior, and can never quite put my finger on anything. My personal style gravitates between fairy and sylvan machismo.

I don't like video games and I don't watch television.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Dancing my ass off.

I finished a liberal studies degree (Biology, English, Social Change), worked as a landscaper for a year, dicked around in Guatemala for 7 months, and now I'm making plans to tack a BS onto my BA, Gardening, practicing the trumpet, playing the mandolin real shitty, amassing a tool collection and learning how to use them, fixing up my old ass house.
I manage a greenhouse where I propagate annuals for urban gardeners in the west end and beyond. This year Imma cultivate vegetables for market and for subsistence on an acre in Louisville. Also I am making tedious plans to build a rabbit hutch and raise rabbits for meat and manure in my backyard.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding/growing food, riding and fixing bikes, talking to people, eating everything on my plate (read: everything), remembering and appreciating the fecundity of life, and all the fabulous ways it can smell, forgiving people, going on with my life, approaching cats, surviving the heat and cold of Kentucky, taking things in from an ambivalent perspective, furious digging, going on and on about plants, lifting and moving things, avoiding the need for money when required
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my awesome dance moves
Covered in dirt
my general acceptance of almost everything
The metal in and around my mouth
wanton, if subtle, disregard for gender norms
Too-willing to meet up with people I meet on okcupid without any text-based foreplay.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Old-Time music, R&B, spicy/ "exotic"/ fermented food/beverages, not really into TV...unless used as an excuse to sit still and cuddle.. Are you really reading this? This is so inconsequential. If my taste in serial television interests you, you will probably bore me to tears. I read mostly heady nonfiction about plant nutrition and hide tanning, but in a past life I loved the poetry of rumi, charles bukowski, Gregory Orr, and frank x walker.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A bike
Wool Socks
A Maddock (hoe/pick-axe, crucial for urban gardening)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
social/environmental justice: how human civilization fucks itself and everything else on the planet, and how it could (or maybe could not) be otherwise
political economy: what the world I live in looks like, why it looks like that; what I'd like it to look like, how to live there now, why and how to give a shit
gardens/permaculture: soil chemistry and composition
PLANTS: their names, classifications, growth habits, tastes, smells, uses, abuses, physiology and chemistry
self-sustinance, interconnectedness, future earth bathed in lava
practical spirituality, practical nihilism
artful sentence structure, really good phrases
preventative/herbal/holistic health, and the part that the mind plays
Biology/ecology:where my place is in the natural world? What about the world isn't natural?
Death:what's that all about, and how do I live with it? Is today the day? Is this moment the moment?
Love: wtf is that supposed to mean?
The differences between who I say that I am, who I think that I am, and who I am.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
dancin or hanging out with friends. Doing "insanity" (a really rigerous cardio workout), cooking dinner, drinking, keeping an ever watchful eye on my plant babies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I deleted all the stuff I had written here because I think it sounded too weird for first impressions, haha. I come off as almost effervescent, but I can be very heavy if I think you can handle it.

If you want help planning or planting a garden or want to help me with mine...or just if you want to pick strawberries and mulberries (blackberries by mid june, i think) I'm really dying to hear your life story and what sort of dreams you've had recently. Quiero encontrar más personas que hablan español, o quierren practicar-- nesecito practicar! Can we just keep it light and friendly for a minute? I'd like to go for a walk in the woods..or maybe for a drink? A jog? Seriously though, can we meet? A date sounds really nice ( even if it isn't meant to be). I do this line dancing thing called Contra every Monday night, I'm sure you'll love it. Enough with the dicking around on the internet!
