Start of self-summary:
It's true that one has more time as a student: recently, I've had to learn to become an expert at balancing my interests – putting hours into the job, meditation, doing sports, spending time with others. Especially the last two are very important with me:
I love team sports like volleyball, but also enjoy the one-on-one competition of tennis and squash. I'm a bit rusty, though, so you have a decent chance to win even if you're not a profi player.
Concerning time spent with others, I think there are few better things to create a worthwhile evening than doing that, visiting our to-go bar, watching something new in the english theater or trying to wrap our heads around the rules of a new board game.
I like meditation, it helps me achieve some more inner calmness. Meditating in small groups is one of the most potent experiences I had, and I like to share this kind of experience with others, if they are so inclined.
I’m also rather active - I like visiting new places, learning about different cultures, trying out new sports. Best of all is a combination of the three - last fall, a friend and I went for a long biking tour along the Limes, getting our share of roman culture and new places.
