This is weird, but on a whim I was persuaded to give this OKCupid a try. Let's see... I received a Bachelor's of the Arts in English Literature several years ago, though my true passions were martial arts and music. I received my black belt in aikido in 2007, though it was playing in metal bands that brought me to the west coast from the Midwest. After touring across the country in various underground bands, I gave it up because I wanted to travel the world. Returning to my aikido practice is what brought me to the Bay. I'm currently working in the restaurant business, and though I'm a pretty good cook (so I've been told) I'm considering school again in hopes to utilize my degree that I lovingly pay for monthly, hahaha. The jury is out on that one. This OK Cupid thing is a social experiment that I don't feel like paying for so shoot me a message if you "like" me because it won't show me who you are otherwise.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm diving head first into aikido, cooking all the damned time, and going to shows/out to meet people as often as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing music, cooking, traveling, weaving my own path, Burning Man, and all around bad ass~ery!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I slide through the cracks.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
IPad, motorcycle, a good book, my chef's knife, my friends that are family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My place in the universe.

I've never been on an "internet date." Wait, I forgot about MySpace.

I also struggle between the societal indoctrination we've endured against the realities we face. It's not the previous generations' fault, shit changes. More dynamically now than ever.
