My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A little more like Leonard Hofstadter than Sheldon Cooper.

Curiosity and an insatiable, almost childlike sense of wonder with a strong dose of skepticism - that's me. I question everything, so I can get better at the things I like, so status quo and tradition better have a good reason for being.

I was building a lego robot one night, and editing a video the next, followed by a hike in the woods, swimming, and reading a book. Or maybe rocking out on guitar and singing, playing with and teaching my kids.

Okay, not really good at team sports I guess, but I love being active.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Putting it in a small box filled with sand - than crushing it under the weight of lead.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking and making observations between things that most people think are unrelated. I think I'm good at teaching, or at least making learning interesting. Pretty good at singing and playing guitar, and video production as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height (not that tall, but 6'2"), and my beard. After that it's my willingness to talk to people and be off the wall, but only when I'm in a comfortable place.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

List of standard geek fair, but I'm genuine and don't need to prove it. Tolkien, JK Rowling, Star Wars, Star Trek, Superhero movies (used to read lots more comics).

Trying to read novels again, but usually drawn to non-fiction because I love learning so much.

I love the energy of a rock concert, but rarely go anymore. A pretty eclectic taste, but prefer any music that is more emotionally intense.

As for food - getting really sick of fast food. Preferring Mexican, Greek, Chinese, Italian, Japanese (but probably all the Americanized variants).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Imagination/Innocation
2. My voice singing
3. pencils and paper
4. guitar
5. a computer
6. skepticism
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Trying to improve, and help others improve. Psychology, nature, making better videos, physics and how math equates to things that most people don't think it does. Equality, freedom, our own mental and social stigma.

I analyze everything, no apologies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't know where the time went. Fridays come and go so quickly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love to sing Monty Python songs. No that's not really private.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–40
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You'd like to talk about geeky, profound, political, history or science stuff - rather than about getting drunk, or other normal stuff. Your idea of a good time is more than just clubbing. Coffee, Hiking, Sailing (you bring the boat?), concerts, chatting online, are all okay by me.

Note:
I put mostly monogamous. It's easier, but my relationship permits a bit of wandering, meeting new people, and more as long as it's discussed and careful. In context, I'm not strictly monogamous, but haven't really explored that, due to other priorities. Might be fun, might be too time consuming.
