Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a married woman mainly looking for friends, and not looking
very hard. I wouldn't mind knowing a few more people I can talk to
at odd hours of the night online. I do not have a cellphone of my
own (don't want one either, I like not being easy to reach unless
you know me well enough to know where I lurk).
I am a semi serious gamer in the sense that I play games daily, and
usually about 4 hours daily. I play mainly rpgs (elder scrolls,
eso, bioware everything) some strategy (city builders, Civ 1-5) the
rare shooter (borderlands!) and I love horror though it is very
very rarely done right (amnesia did it, and one or two silent hill
games did, prolly others I am not remembering). (ps I hate league
of legends it is the dumbest worst game with the dumbest worst
The other large part of my life is my cats. I have two, and I will
regale you with stories about them. I am not a crazy cat lady. I
just adore animals. If you have a bias against women who like cats,
finding pretty rocks
reading up on archeology
reading up on WWI
prolly some other stuff
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Housewife atm. yay sleep disorder and crippling lifelong
depression! So mostly lately I am just focusing on making art, on
account of that being fun as heck.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am extremely good at talking un-sober people out of really stupid
ideas, and I hope I have as few chances to practice that skill as
possible. City builders. Convincing kitties to love me. Finding
agates, jasper, other quartz-y stuff and petrified wood. I dunno,
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My...face? Humans usually look at faces first.
people have said I look like I walked out of a silent film. I think
that's them telling me it's ok to be homely.
I am at any point a little too much green eyeshadow and a nose zit
away from being accused of witch craft.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Voice of the Fire by Alan Moore is absolutely the best novel i have
ever read. Drownging Girl by Caitlin Kiernan is also extermely
good. I usually read sci-fi, fantasy or horror and I have read a
fair amount of all of those genres. Well, not so much horror I've
only been reading that lately so if you have any suggestions for
creepy but not gross violent serial killer horror lemme know!
I dont like movies very much but i am a sucker for ghost movies.
Lake Mungo might be my favorite.
i like watching game of thrones, the wire, carnivale, supernatural,
fringe, archer, battlestar galactica, american horror story, Orphan
Black, Misfits (uk), True detective, The Walking Dead. I have
watched an absurd amount of genre tv, essentially.
I like rock and/or roll...mostly, and I eat food, usually.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my comfy clothes
my favorite blanket
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I like the things I like. Why I hate the things I hate. Where
exactly one of my cats came from and how did she get her pelvis
broken in three places. (she showed up on my dads porch broken,
she's all healed now) Why people do what they do. Whether there are
any good horror/genre tv shows out there I haven't seen yet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home, playing video games. Sometimes drinking with friends.
Possibly knitting, or making an art object.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have had major depressive disorder since the age of 7. I was
suicidal by 9. I have been mostly on sometimes off meds since age
10. It is clearly genetics at work plus possible head trauma. Well
there was certainly some head trauma it's just impossible to know
if that helped the depression set in. My teenage years were rough,
let's leave it at that.
I also have a sleep disorder I haven't been able to get treated or
diagnosed for the last 5-7 years due to no health insurance. But
this year I got OHP (thank god) and I have an appointment in July
with the OHSU sleep center. My wikipedia fueled self diagnosis is a
delayed sleep phase disorder. Go look it up if you're curious, it's
weird and terrible. or maybe I am making this all up and just can't
sleep like a normal person because I'm not trying hard enough. Fuck
if I know.
However my new depression medications are working so super crazy
well that I am slightly concerned that all my friends will hate me
cause I am too dang chipper now.
