My Self-Summary

I have no idea. that isn't a statement about answering the question; it IS my self-summary.

Well.. in actuality, there is more to me than I could scribble onto the entire floor of the SouthLand mall, which means I wouldn't know where to start or where to end.

What I’m doing with my life

Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering (sort of)
Working on various application and website projects (peripherally)
Reading the world's most important books (now and then)
Generally living it up and fulfilling my deepest desires (in my imagination)

I’m really good at

Super Mario Brothers 3, F-Zero X, Off Road Challenge, racing games in general, running, jumping, typing, using logic to show contradicting conclusions, paradox solving, describing the shape you're thinking of, and mind control.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

I have no idea. You tell me..?

theteofscuba (1:09:27 AM): i remember randy said you looked like god on crack

(that was circa 1999 though.)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: Neale Donald Walsch, Mike Dooley, Donna Williams, Tito Rajarshi Mukhopadhyay, Al Franken, John Edward, Michael Newton, Masaru Emoto, Michael Newton, Robert Monroe, various autobiographies. (i don't know why i like autobiographies so much, it's not fandom, or vicariousness..i just find them extraordinarily rich, in some way.)

movies: Joe Vs. the Volcano, What Dreams May Come, Matrix Reloaded, Hook, Powder, Waking Life, City of Angels, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Mrs. Doubtfire, Pleasantville, Princess Bride, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, et al, and probably lots of foreign films - i've only seen very few, and I liked them. an American film is 2 hours of momentary enjoyment; foreign films make impressions on your soul.

music: trance, club, dance, soundtrack, ethereal wave, salsa, baroque, Christmas, *some* new age, various songs in random categories. I'm *disgusted* by rock, metal, and anything like them. Here's my playlist.com playlist: http://www.playlist.com/playlist/6840073995

food: triple peanut butter cup icecream, honey dew, blueberries, watermelon, chicken tandoori, lamb tikka masala, mango, California navel oranges, Publix subs, Golden Grahams, Arby's turkey & swiss marketfresh sandwiches, Hershey's Cacao Reserve, carbonated white grape juice, white grape peach juice, Juicy Juice, smoothies, orange julius, anything with banana peppers.

The six things I could never do without

There aren't six things that are guaranteed to last forever, and I'm not gonna jinx myself!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

myself, metaphysics/the universe, ideas for projects that i may or may not actually begin and will probably never finish, how i would act in imaginary situations or situations from tv shows, amazing powers and abilities, other possible worlds / modalities of being and interaction, fame, why there are 3 spatial dimensions (experientially at least), the anthropic principles, what time is, the relationship between matter and energy, why dogs are so amazing, what it would be like to see in 4 (or more) primary colors, whether mother nature created parasites intentionally or not, ideal (or best-fit) political and economic systems, and our systematic devastation of the earth and related problems.

On a typical Friday night I am

...not aware that it's a Friday

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

* I often watch an entire movie and have no idea what the names of any of the characters are. I did that just last night with Lars and the Real Girl. I could probably tell you the whole plot, but you could name anyone from that movie and it wouldn't so much as ring a bell (except that I know who Lars is because his name is in the title). Oh, I also do the same thing with novels, although I don't generally read fiction nowadays.

* I want to live under a pavilion with patio furniture, solar cells for power, and wireless internet. I'm not sure what to do about water.. maybe a well with a well water filter.

You should message me if

a) You're cute and you want to kiss me, b) You want to converse/debate about anything vaguely analytic, c) You have an important message for me from the year 2039, d) You have some other reason to message me, or e) You have no reason whatsoever.
