I grew up in Massachusetts, but work brought me to the Seattle area about two years ago. I'm a professional musician in the US Navy Band and I love my job. I'm pretty lucky to go to work everyday at a job that I enjoy so much. I've had a great time exploring the Seattle area, finding new spots to hang out, and meeting new people since moving here two years ago.

In my free time I love to ski, hike, travel around exploring new areas, trivia nights at the pub, and watching sports. If I had to quit my job and stop being a "grown up" for a little while, I would probably try to find a way to travel around and spend an entire winter skiing. It would be awesome, until I remember that I'm a grown up. Haha. I'm a die hard baseball fan, but you don't have to be. I'm also extremely focused, I work very hard towards achieving my goals, and I think that I have a good idea of what I want out of life.

I would like to find someone who can go out and have fun all day kayaking, skiing, or something like that, and then put on some nice clothes and spend a night out on the town. Having a lighthearted and sarcastic sense of humor is a definite plus. I also think that it's important to be ambitious and goal-oriented, while not taking yourself too seriously, and enjoying life. If that sounds like you then I'd love to hear from you.

Movies: 300, Anchorman, Avatar, Batmam the Dark Knight, Fast and the Furious (all of them), the Hangover, Horrible Bosses, Inception, Old School, Snatch, all of the Star Wars movies.

Bands: Blues Traveler, Cake, Dave Matthews, Dropkick Murphy's,
Foo Fighters, Gorillaz, John Legend, Mumford & Sons, Reel Big Fish, Tenacious D.

Food- I have a thing for good German and Italian food, I also like just about any steak or hamburger cooked on a grill.

The last book I read was “Red Sox Fans are From Venus, Yankee Fans are From Uranus.” Sitting on my night stand waiting to be read are: "Death by Black Hole" By Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and "Last Words" By George Carlin.

Music being an important part of my life, good food and wine, my brain, skis, my smartphone, and of course family and friends.

Music. Also, did I do everything at work today that I needed to do? Darn it, did I remember to turn off the lights in my house when I left for work? I also spend a lot of time thinking about Astronomy and science stuff. Is it too late for me to go back to school to be an Astro-physicist?

Trivia night at the pub with friends is a favorite. So is going to see a live band or having a cookout.
