I am a l, fit, active,"young" lady who has traveled many roads with many turns (figuratively, and literally), who is seeking a compatible and loving man with whom I can share some common interests, and the ups and downs of life. I love outdoor activities such as bicycling , hiking,trail riding(horseback), snow skiing (even though I haven't done it in a long time), gardening, and just working in the yard. I also enjoy arts and crafts shows, antique shops,museums, zoos, concerts( indoors and outdoors),exploring out- of -the way places, and traveling, near and far. I sing in community chorus, and play in community concert band and/or orchestra. I also love to dance . I am open to new learning experiences.
I am a college graduate with a BA degree in Education, but did not retire from a teaching career.
I have two daughters, one on the east coast, and one on the west coast. We are close, but don't see each other often, because of jobs, distance, etc.

I am outgoing, active, patient, financially responsible (no debt), neat , clean, organized, and flexible. My personality test reveals that I am a "sonnet".( If you don't know what that is ,look it up on "tests".) I have also answered many of questions under that heading, which reveal much about my values, attitudes, personal habits, and philosophies.

I desire to meet someone who is warm, caring, compassionate, treats women with respect, is in good health and cares about his physical appearance, doesn't smoke, is physically active, appreciates the beauty of nature , has versatile interests, is a one woman man ,is able to sustain a relationship , is politically liberal, is a romantic , is financially comfortable (but not necessarily wealthy),stays within a budget ,but not a "tightwad".(There is a difference between frugality and "cheap"). Good, but not necessarily perfect, grammar is also a plus.

Until a little over a year ago, I worked as farm manager on a small private horse farm. My position was terminated due to some extenuating circumstances beyond my control. I have recently bought a house in Hartselle, Al. I am now retired , on a fixed income, but comfortable . I volunteer at the local hospital, and I play French horn in community symphonic band, and take yoga at the gym.
