My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Did you hear about the terrapin truck that crashed into the train full of tortoises? It was a turtle disaster!

Hopefully that joke made you laugh. If not, thanks for stopping by.

I try not to take life too seriously and always try to see the funny side of things. Whether it is clever, silly or down right goofy, I like a good laugh. Speaking of having a laugh, what do you call an alligator in a vest? An investigator!

I also try to keep active and I go to the gym regularly (emphasis on "try"). I also occasionally play badminton and I've recently started playing squash (I'm terrible at both but I enjoy it just the same).

I'm a bit of a movie goer and I'll watch any film genre. I also watch too much American TV ... I'll watch anything and everything regardless of genre, cast or target audience. I am also an avid reader. If something is becoming topical or getting the movie treatment I generally try to read it so I can join in on the discussion or debate.

I love to travel and every year I try visit somewhere new. My goal in life is to see as much of the world as possible and the last few years I've focused on American cities. Favourites so far are Las Vegas, San Francisco and New York.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I head up the helpdesk for a software developer which keeps me pretty busy. No day is the same and every project brings a whole new learning experience. As they say, every day is a school day.

I can be a bit of a perfectionist so at work I tend to put in at least 110% and I try to take pride in the final outcome. At times I feel like I live to work instead of working to live ... A habit I'm trying to break (and also one of the reasons I'm here).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Impersonating Christian Bale in Batman, wrapping Christmas presents (they are works of art!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You've seen my photo, you tell me!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog (he's a hoot!)
2. Christmas (I think I'm part elf)
3. Gadgets & gizmos (recent kindle convert!)
4. Ice Cream (Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia is the cats pyjamas)
5. Cinema (that's how movies should be seen!)
6. Netflix (So much entertainment, so little time)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I want to see as much of the world as possible so I like to think about where/when my next holiday will be. I already have a few destinations in mind so it's time for saving and planning. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at the cinema, out with friends, reading on the kindle, playing Xbox or watching TV.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a big fan of Disney's animated classics. I grew up on those movies and they are still as amazing now as they were when I was a kid.
