My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a startup founder & MBA student in Berkeley via India, the Philippines and London. I was born in San Francisco, but I went to school near Windsor and my family lives in the UK, so I feel slightly more English than American (football over baseball, colour over color, etc). Brown University tried to re-Americanize me but was only partially successful.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Over the last few years, I've been all over. I did projects for which I was grossly underqualified in India, then did some venture capital work in London. After a stint working for a goldmining startup in the Philippines (random, I know) I am now getting my MBA whilst I launch my own startup. The glass is obviously half full.

I'm up for trying new things (dance, anyone?) taking old things back up (hello musical theatre) and desperately trying to avoid watching How I met Your Mother. Looking for people to go climbing/gymnasticating/conversating with, the more articulate and opinionated the better.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Handstands.

Singing.

Articulation. Primarily of things like arms, but I occasionally do it verbally as well....

Climbing things you really shouldn't climb...

Career advice (apparently).

negotiating Heathrow with a trolley full of luggage...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently I bear a more than passing resemblance to Doctor Who - British accent, crazy hair, and utterly indefatigable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Neall Stephenson, Neil Gaiman, Swiss Family Robinson, Sense & Sensibility, The Hobbit, The Rational Optimist, World War Z. Robert Jordan, Lois McMaster Bujold, Oscar Wilde. I also love the Economist for the snide, snide commentary and straightforward policy prescriptions. A big fan of Pratchett.

Food - Most cuisine, though not Filipino. Chana Masala, and good French & Italian food.

Shows - Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker. Shakespeare. *edit* Just saw Matilda. It was extraordinary.

TV - Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Archer, Firefly, Scrubs, Friends, Stargate SG1,True Blood and Full Metal Alchemist. I am looking for someone to sail with me into the perilous vortex that is Mad Men.

Movies - Shakespeare in Love, Gattaca, & Stardust. Chariots of Fire, Lord of the Rings, Avatar. Pan's Labyrinth and Laurence of Arabia, anything with Rupert Everett. I also have a pronounced weakness for Disney & Pixar movies. Anything Monty Python and obviously The Princess Bride.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Things that I would prefer to not have to do without:

1. Trees
2. The Internet
3. Music
4. Sex (someone pointed out that this was missing, thank you)
5. Obscure and not so obscure cultural & musical references
6. Honesty

Things I could never do out is a much more boring list. It might include parmesan cheese, however.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fact that carrots are orange for political reasons (it's true!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Walking home half-way across the city with people I've just met.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have occasionally been known to burst into song in slightly inappropriate circumstances.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run....

Drop me a line. :)
