I love my job (I'm a prof) and work hard at it. I am loyal and dedicated to family and friends. At times I do work long hours, but feel fortunate to spend my days enjoying and not dreading what I do. As a researcher, it's kind of cool to be able to work out of a coffee shop. After years of focusing mostly on my career, a work/life balance has become priority.
As a lover of art, I enjoy visiting galleries and museums, but also feel the need to keep physically fit by going to the gym. I have been fortunate to have traveled some amount, but there are many more place I would love to visit. As much as I appreciate packing my bags and heading off to the airport, I equally enjoy small weekend getaways and day trips.
Can't really say I have a "type", its all about chemistry (cliché but true). Ideally I am looking for someone who is hardworking, has a good moral compass, keeps fit but doesn't take it too seriously, and has an appreciation for the arts.
What I’m doing with my life
Working away, working out, staying healthy, research, teaching,
being kind and helpful to others. Enjoying life, you know, the
I’m really good at
I have been told I can be pretty funny although you wouldn't know
it from reading this profile.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that I am pretty open and can easily make people laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Hopes and Prospects, God Delusion (sucked!) - Dawkins annoys me, The Moral Landscape, Lucifer Effect (and no this isn't a satanic worship book), Inside of a Dog, Emotional Intelligence, Science for Sale, The Fall of the Faculty. I read a fair bit for work and so watching movies and TV films (i.e., Game of Thrones, Suits, Orange is the New Black and many more) helps me relax. Food, I can eat anything, but I like to eat healthy. I especially crave Japanese. Music - no Jazz or classical, sorry.
The six things I could never do without
My computer, coffee, health, healthcare, the internet (sort of goes
with my computer), and wine and beer. I gotta add beer in there

Work related topics.

Out having dinner, and/or drinks, working, or watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
You are liberal minded, easy going and actually want to meet
outside of the online world.
