My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Intelligent, witty, self-deprecating, considerate, honest, rational (and super-modest). Never married, no kids, 1 cat, very slight unidentified European accent (me, not the cat… the cat is a native English-speaker).

Love the outdoors, especially whitewater rafting, endurance hikes, camping, etc. I don't club, and I'm not big on bars (dive bars can be ok once in a long while). I also don’t watch a lot of TV, though I do watch a good amount of movies... Aaand that's where I'm going to leave it for now... I'll come back to this part once the rest of this gigantic profile is filled out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What AM I doing with my life? I... am teaching Electronics & Fabrication, Intro To Engineering, and Industrial Design at a SJ high school.

I freelance part-time as an Industrial Design consultant, and moonlight as a Curriculum Developer for companies teaching Mechanical Engineering to gifted children.

About a year I got into white-water rafting, and now I'm hopelessly addicted to it.

Then there's music... It's hard to call it a hobby; writing music has always just been a part of my life. It's mostly heavy and melodic, and always instrumental.

I have a load of various other hobbies and interests, but most of them are rooted in music, technology, and combat sports (kickboxing, jujitsu, robotic combat... ... chess :P).

Mostly I just love designing, problem-solving, and working with my hands. Here's some footage and stills of a few of the things I've built, all packed into a "super-professional" Windows Movie Maker video :)

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Haha, the bragging section.

Last year I learned that a river can keep you from breathing while it tries to steal your belongings. I am getting pretty good at not letting it do either of those things. :)

I can design, build, or fix almost anything. And if I can't fix it, I can at least finish breaking it for you.

Here's some samples of stuff I've written.
