My Self-Summary

It seems that unless I write something here I won't be able to save any other partial changes to my profile. So here it is and let's try. I will fill it up as the muse visits me.

What I’m doing with my life

Fixing the gear shift of my bike, taking care of my daughter and my dog and working a couple of days a week and a weekend every not so often; growing as a person and enjoying many simple things.

I’m really good at

Listening, playing with words (in Catalan and Spanish), admitting my feelings, loving. More to follow.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books by the author:
Fiction: G. Durrell, O. Wilde, E. Mendoza, P. Baroja, B. Vian, G. Greene, W. Congreve, H. Hanff, W. Shakespeare, J. Le Carré, J. Archer, S. Endo, C. Ruiz Zafón.
I also read non-fiction about psichology and education, mainly.

Movies: Spring, summer, fall, winter, spring,... Shortbus, Priscilla queen of the desert, Cyrano de Bergerac, Henry V.

Music: I've changed over the times. I used to listen to a lot of classical, then I turned to folk and celtic music. My collection includes jazz and indy pop, too.

Food: French food, Mediterranean food, spicy food, Indian food but not too hot.

The six things I could never do without

1) Nature: countryside, seaside, sky, fresh air...
2) Care, warmth and love. Friends to share with.
3) Unprocessed food
4) Crystal clear water

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Feelings: mine, yours, theirs, animals' feelings too.
Economy and/vs. ecology.
My daughter's education.
What to cook tonight.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either at home with my daughter or with friends, dining, movies, just talking, having a beer. I also enjoy sharing reading sessions, both with my daughter and my friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I shed some tears when your plane took off.
