My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm mostly just here to see whats out there. I don't think much of these type of sites but my schedule doesn't really allow for much of a social life sometimes. Plus it's often nice to get to know someone a little bit online first.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well I'm currently working to pay off an acre of debt and contemplating finally doing the college thing to accumulate more debt. Which seems to be the plan that most people I know have, so I don't feel too bad about that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being sarcastic. Dissolving stereotypes by being myself. Saying that thing that everyone laughs at but instantly feels awful for laughing at. Being amused that the term 'straight-acting' even exists. People are who they are. No?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not other people. What kind of question is this?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books. I've read and enjoyed a ton, I just seem to enjoy books that no one else reads. Mostly I read a lot of history and I primarily gravitate towards military history of all periods.

Movies. I'm generally an action/drama/sci-fi guy with the occasional comedy thrown in. My interests are extensive and quite varied. To list my favorites would be to put more effort into this profile than I am currently willing to exert.

Shows. Similar genres to my movie preferences. Huge Star Trek fan, Doctor Who (newer series), West Wing, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy. Again, could get long winded, don't really feel like it.

Food. I love all types. The only things I exclude from the menu would be coconut and licorice. Mexican, Thai and Indian are probably my top favorites. If I haven't tried it then I will be trying it eventually.

Music. I've never been a huge music guy, but I do appreciate good music when I hear it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family,
friends,
car,
a roof over my head,
good food
and my cat.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What people actually put in spaces like these. (Insert requisite smart-ass answer to this question here.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At work!
If an atypical Friday night, I might be at dinner with friends or at home watching Netflix or the Cubs game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I hate these types of questionaires. People who put too much personal shit online are stupid.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are capable and interested in sending more than 'Hi how r u?'
as your greeting. If you can't bother to actually type words and string them together in a coherent order, that probably says something about your overall investment in...life? Anyway, don't reinvent the wheel (or try) just stand out a bit above the rest.
