My self-summary
Charming, funny and more than a bit geeky.
I love to read, watch good movies and TV shows and having conversations just about everything.
Looking for a cool, interesting person to share Life, the Universe and Everything with.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in the Army, where every day I get to submit huge silicone-and-copper monsters to my will.

When not at work, I like reading, listening to music, solving puzzles, playing computer games (not much, though) and playing good old pen-and-paper RPGs with my friends.

Always on the outlook for something interesting to do. For example, I like dancing, but it's not so fun without a partner. :-)
I’m really good at
Thinking, reading, making up jokes, teaching, inventing stories, noticing when a sentence gets too long and it's time to start a new one.

One of the things I enjoy most is discovering exploring human ingenuity. Art, science, all sorts of inventions and ideas— people can be so gorram BRILLIANT, and finding such brilliance gives me an enormous kick. That's also why I love magic tricks: the sheer ingenuity of the magicians never ceases to amaze me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice, most probably.
I always get told I should be on the radio. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - many genres and authors, mostly SciFi and humor. A representative (but by no means exhaustive!) selection: Terry Pratchett, Connie Willis, Greg Egan, Robert Heinlein, Douglas Hofstadter, Philip Pullman, Neal Stephenson, and of course the Harry Potter series. Also, Shakespeare. He's just amazing.

Music - that's perhaps the only thing I love more than books.
People tell me I've got the weirdest playlist in the world, and I sure try to keep it that way!
Some of the things I like are:
* Old rock and pop- from ABBA to Queen, from The Beatles to Elton John, from Aqua to Mireille Mathieu, from Meat Loaf to Pink Floyd...
* Metal - Nightwish, Stratovarius, Galneryus, and especially Trans Siberian Orchestra.
* Instrumental - Bond, Keiko Matsui, Philip Glass, and lots and lots of classical music that I keep constantly discovering for myself on Youtube.
* Crossover - Il Divo, Michael Crawford and especially Sarah Brightman, whose voice just hypnotises me.

I'm not really a movie person; usually I just watch them for my favorite actors. For stories I prefer TV shows: Doctor Who, Castle, Boston Legal, Sherlock and sitcoms, mostly the old British ones. The best shows I have ever seen are Firefly, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and Homicide: Life On The Streets.

Food, now; I don't have any special preferences, as long as it's Kosher. Yes, I am not religious, but I eat Kosher because... ask me why! :)
The six things I could never do without
My ebook, which saves me from insanity every day while I commute to work and back.
My music collection - don't you agree that a day without music is a day wasted? ;-)
A good laugh.
My cat Alice.
An Internet connection.
Sixth place intentionally left vacant.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a quiet night in with a good book and a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Admit? I ain't admitting anything! Show me your evidence! :)
