My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In case you hadn't guessed my name is Alex. Im a bit of a geek. Im really into my computers. I love formula 1 and most other motor sports. I have a very sarcastic sense of humour, it can be a bit relentless somtimes so I try to reign it in.

I like a good argument/debate. So I'd really like to meet someone that could give me a good run for my money.

If any of that sounds remotely interesting to you, send me a wee message :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in a terrible job. In my spare time I edit a couple of podcasts of a gaming nature. I'd probably like to go back and do some form of higher education, either revolving around programming or around computer security.

Edit: Going back to university to do Computer Programming. :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procastinating and being lazy, its a skill. Being innapropriate yet funny. I am really sarcastic.

This is kind of a hard one to fill out without sounding like a complete dick, which of course I have failed at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the glasses, then its deffinately the hair, it likes to stick up at the top and has never looked neat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Richard Morgan and I love rereading the Chris Bunch books. I loved The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z. I'm a huge sci-fi geek and enjoy the odd fantasy novel now and again. I also plunder my dads crime books from time to time, mainly Christopher Brookmyre or Ian Rankin. I am currently reading the Sherlock Holmes series of stories.

Movies: Action movies mainly, although I do like thrillers, crime and serious drama. Films like; Memento, Alien, any Indiana Jones film. For action movies they have to have a high bullet to body coefficient :P

Shows: Top Gear, QI, Never Mind the Buzzcocks. I really like history and documentaries too, so shows like time team and police documentaries/current affairs stuff. I also like my scifi shows, Battlestar Galactica and Firefly although I cant stand Doctor Who.

Music: The music I do have is a little all over the place and is mainly recomended by friends or something i caught a snippet of and liked.

Food: Anything italian, especially pasta, pizza although I do like a good pie or joint of meat. Im a pretty decent cook, trying to get better, mainly through experimentation. There have been many failures but a couple of successes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet
My Computer
My Watch (it feels wrong when I don't have it on my wrist)
Caffeine
My friends
Formula 1
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to improve my zombie survival plan. Why Nicholas Cage is so terrible in every movie he has ever been in.

Pretty much anything, I have an over active imagination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either with friends or having a quiet night in. I don't do clubs, never really felt comfortable in them. A night out at the pub/cinema sounds far better to me. I love a good boardgame with friends, but I refuse to play scrabble with them, they are too good.

If I am forced to, dinner with my parents :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I broke my nose by running into a fence, I wasn't even drunk. I was chased out of a tent once by a badger. Sadly both of these are true
