My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've made Astoria my home for the past 4+ years and find it incredibly convenient. A 20 minute non-stop commute to NYC and walking distance to the King of Falafel. Plus when the old-school Greeks of the area caught wind that my last name consisted of 12 letters and five syllables, the locals were quick to accept me as their own. It's been gravy ever since.

I like to travel to new locales (shocking, right?), play pick-up basketball when my ankles will allow it, and occasionally self-torture by wedging myself into a cramped bus in order to play poker in Atlantic City. I also like to make time to try new restaurants and cocktail bars, which I deem "work-related research" (see below) so I can write off the tabs at tax time (Does the IRS check OKCupid? Okay, good.).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Previously operated one of the most popular wine bars in NYC, but recently made the decision to give up my 75-hour managerial work weeks and snazzy business cards in order to pursue a career as a sommelier (or "small-ear" depending on your choice of pronunciation). I spend my new found free time studying wine, scheming up ways open my own retail shop, and hacking away on the golf course.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pairing foods and wines, poker, pronouncing complex last names, naming skills beginning with the letter “p,” ping pong, bocce, buck hunter, skiing, scrabble, general knowledge trivia.

Conversely I am not very good at long division, hitting consecutive proper golf shots, or staying awake in the back seat of a car. But I'm working to get better at all three. Ok, maybe not the division.

Probably my rugged facial hair, which at any time can range from Bruce Willis-esque stubble to the Sylvester Stallone mountain beard from Rocky IV.
