My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I had this whole self-summary written out, but now every time I read it I cringe. But I saved it. So maybe later you can read it. But probably not. Because its awful.

I was a PhD student in Molecular Biology at the University of Pittsburgh, but then I stopped. I graduated from Brandeis University with a BS in Biology and a Minor in Philosophy. I spent 5 months working with a trail crew in western Mass cutting down trees, moving rocks, building bridges, etc. I now attend Boston College for a Masters degree in Secondary Education.

I like playing guitar. I love hanging out with my friends and I love biking and running. I think I’m starting to like writing about myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a full time middle school science teacher
I'm a full time grad student
I'm swerving on my bike (Seriously, I love my bike)
I'm making lists of shit to keep up with at work and at home
I'm working on my dunking skills (I honestly think being able to dunk a basketball would make me a better person)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Climbing trees
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
First, you'll smell me. You won't know its me, but there is something about the way the air tastes that's just...right. Then, you'll hear me; my deep comforting bass billowing through the air and enveloping your whole body, you'll feel the vibrations in your loins. Finally, you'll see me, in all my majesty, towering over common men like a silver-back gorilla amongst his harem. That is USUALLY my first impression on people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Brothers Karamazov, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dune, any Vonnegut; I'm currently reading 'Clockers' by Richard Price and its super entertaining.

Movies: City of God, Super Troopers, The Matrix, Enter the Void

Shows: any of the classics Eugene O'Neal and Tennessee Williams. I also like any interesting plays and have a really low standard for what I'll consider a good play (after being dragged to lots of college theater)

Music: Ab-Soul, ASAP Rocky, Opeth, Danny Brown, Between the Buried and Me, Frank Ocean, The Fall of Troy, Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson, Portugal. The Man, Saves the Day, Dirty Projectors, Brightside, Make it Up, Blunt Logic

Food: EVERYTHING (I especially like Greek food), I really love craft beers, especially really great IPAs like Bells Hopslam, Avery Maharaja, Wachussets Larry...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The Fresh Prince of Bell Air and his ulterior motives.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Texting a couple of friends, meeting up at a bar, heading to a different bar, going to someone's house to chill out, biking home. Alone. So alone...or being enticed into some house party or basement show. Or chilling on my balcony smoking a spliff and trying to draw the house across the street/play guitar. Or wasting my time on Facebook. Or thinking about space/how life will be in the future.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually ended up spending a whole lot of time on this profile. Also, I can be pretty shallow sometimes.
