I'm hesitant to just list a bunch of stuff. I read quite a lot by
normal people's standards. I read that a heavy reader in the UK
only reads 4 books a year which is disgusting. I'm always reading
at least two.
I generally enjoy - is enjoy the right word? - dystopian fiction.
So Brave New World, obviously. Nineteen Eighty Four, The Road etc.
Song of Ice and Fire was totally something else.
I also ready a lot of non fiction around the social sciences:
politics, philosophy, evolutionary theory. Also trying to get a
handle on economics. So far I'm convinced no one has a clue about
anything. Or something.
I studied film at uni so I have quite a healthy appetite for
movies. I will resist listing them as we will no doubt have a bunch
in common 'cause who on earth doesn't watch movies?
TV is also pretty not bad. The Wire, South Park, Mad Men and Lost
are in my opinion some of the best. I'm currently blizing my way
through West Wing at an inhuman rate. Can't believe I left it so
long.
Food is pretty good, too. Apparently comes under the same heading
as TV etc. I try to eat as healthily as possible but try is
definitely the operative word.
