I hate these things. I never really know what to say here.
My name is, of course, not Alexander. It's a handle I've had for
the longest time. I don't care for my real first name too much (but
if you ask, I'll surely tell you what it is).
I'm a computer tech who's living the bachelor life while he tries
to polish off all those lovely school loans and further his career.
I'm a generally friendly guy who puts a lot of stock in the concept
of chivalry. It's something I try to follow everyday of my life.
It's not really a religion, more of a set of guidelines. I'm not
quite there yet, but I'm making progress everyday.
I came on this site to meet new people, since it's difficult for me
to meet people given my current schedule of work. So, feel free to
ask me whatever you want or just to chat.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm working an intro job at a small company to get some
experience in the computer world and turn that into something much
better. I lucked out, now I've got to back it up.
I’m really good at
Listening and trying to make things seem better than they are. I
find that I enjoy trying to help people, especially people that I
can connect well with.
The first things people usually notice about me
I wouldn't really know. People have said that I have nice hair,
though that was only one person. I'm somewhat loud and goofy in a
public setting with a lot of people that I have similar interests
with, but I tend to have intelligent conversations when I'm with a
few people. I like to make people laugh with my silly antics or
make people think with stuff that I've heard or read.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a geek in a big way, so anything you'd attribute to that. I'm
slowly chewing my way through A Song of Fire and Ice series.
Currently on book four, but I rarely get time to sit down and
actually enjoy a book.
Movies, I like action, adventure, sci-fi, comedy, though I can try
anything. I don't have a set favorite movie, but I do like the Back
to the Future series, Indiana Jones 1 and 3, and Boondock
I don't watch a lot of TV with my schedule, but I'm a fan of the
Daily Show and the Colbert Report. I also watch a lot of old series
from time to time on Netflix when work is dull. Going through a lot
of old Star Trek stuff. Dr. Who is on the backburner, but that's a
huge kettle of fish to open up.
I like all kinds of music as long as it is good. You'll usually
find me listening to soundtracks, classic rock, or anything with a
As for food, with my schedule, I eat much worse than I should, but
I'm usually a fan of the basics. Italian, Chinese, and good ol'
The six things I could never do without
- My Friends
- My Laptop
- My Bed
- A good shower
- My iPod
- Someone interesting to talk to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All sorts of geeky things. I'm an exceptional geek. If you ask me
something you consider geeky, chances are I have some form of
knowledge about it.
On a typical Friday night I am
At work. Currently, I'm working an exceptionally crappy schedule at
a third shift job. But it pays the bills and it gets me into bigger
things, so I have to do it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
It's my dream to be a real knight someday. I have no idea how I'll
accomplish it or if I can accomplish it, but it's something I'd
You should message me if
You're just interested in getting to know me better. I'm pretty
laid back, so I'm more than willing to chat with whoever gives me
the time of day.
