My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm endlessly curious. You might even say that I'm plagued with an explorer's intrigue. I've done some of state-hopping in my time. I've lived around Delaware, Maryland, Kansas, Georgia, and Washington State so far. There are many shades of America to be sure, though the West Coast may be my favorite. Overseas keeps pinging away on my radar too and I may very well make that happen one day. I've grown tired of the solo wandering though. If I adventure any further, I'd rather have someone to share the experience with.

Despite my adventurous spirit, I'm simultaneously a bit of a homebody and trying to peel away from that status as well, so if you have an idea to get me out of the house, I'm all ears! (But if you just wanna chill at home, that's cool with me too.)

I can't stand suburbia. Especially Midwestern suburbia. Luckily, I escaped.

For two years, I worked a job where I was the only white person and it partially made me want to never work with white people again (Kidding - kind of). We eventually got another white person, but he was Russian so it was fine.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have always felt an artistic calling, but it turns out that art is a rather complex course to take in life. I've spent the past few years fulfilling the cliche role of the tortured artist and doing little TV show and commercial jobs, but am currently in a state of decompression from that. In other words, I'm forcing myself to mellow out a bit and enjoy life.

Right now, I'm working a job that ain't bad, though I feel like I'm definitely capable of something more fulfilling. I went to school for film and television production and toyed with that for a few years after I graduated, but as I already said, that has lost its charm.

I'm over it though and moving on! I've decided to go back to college and pursue a new course. I'm considering something along the lines of Modern Languages, International Business, or rather some kind of internationally-relative general job. I like all the useless degrees, so I'm really trying to narrow things down to something feasible. In the meantime, I'm just keeping myself productive by racking up core credits.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Losing track of time when I start recording music, writing, or reading a book. Im also a research machine.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Strangers ask what my heritage is a lot. I can pull off numerous ethnicities and the reason is that I am simply a European mutt. Mostly Italian and Polish with some additional French, English, German, Swiss, and I think a little Irish.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - College distracted me from reading for a while and now I feel like I have an impossible amount of amazing literature to catch up on. But Im trying. I think I do alright these days. Some of my favorites include The Great Gatsby, The Lover, Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas, On The Road, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Master And Margarita, Camus, Dostoyevsky, Steinbeck, Hemingway, some poetry, so on and so forth.

Movies - Lots of the classics and the esoteric arthouse stuff. Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, Magnolia, Night of the Iguana, Brand Upon The Brain, Spring Summer Fall Winter And Spring, Fallen Angels, Seventh Seal, Boogie Nights, Heima, Miyazaki, blah blah blah film geek blah blah blah...

Music - About everything minus contemporary country music. Reggae can often test my patience too. If you pass by the windows of my place, you might catch an earful of Miles Davis or Chopin, Justin Timberlake or Tom Waits, Outkast or Bjork, Infected Mushroom or The Beatles. For the sake of naming a favorite though, I'd have to say Sigur Ros. They are my absolute happy place.

Shows - I don't have much need for cable in my life as I never watch TV. If I did have cable, I might put on Turner Classic Movies or The Science Channel and just let that play in the background.

Food - Seafood, Indian, Pizza, Asian. Those are the favs. Probably in order. And preferably spicy as Hell itself.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Some kind of presence of art in my life
Memories of time spent with friends and loved ones
Things to learn
A dog
Tea
A razor because I'm Italian and my face is like a chia pet. Just apply water.

And while its not essential, I love having access to the ocean in my life. I'm not even that much into swimming - I just like having the ocean nearby.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, art, cultural differences, all the places I want to go, where I'll end up settling down (if anywhere), stuff, etc.

What language I should study. I have faint polyglot aspirations. Spanish 1 down.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
“Surely everyone is aware of the divine pleasures which attend a wintry fireside; candles at four o'clock, warm hearthrugs, tea, a fair tea-maker, shutters closed, curtains flowing in ample draperies to the floor, whilst the wind and rain are raging audibly without.”
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While this isn't really private, I'll admit to a total ignorance towards sports. What can I say? They simply don't do anything for me. If you like them though, then by all means tail-gate on!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're one of the mad ones that Kerouac wrote about. Or ya know, you're just a pretty cool character and want to see what the world has to offer. A nice smile and semi-moral backbone will just about do it too.

I get the drift that women's inboxes on this site get pretty flooded with messages and while I might like to send you a message, feel free to make the first move and send a message my way. I'll do my best not to waste your time and give you a worthwhile response.
