My self-summary
if i was to say that i'm easygoing and down-to-earth, that would be too cliché. i have a personality that is incomparable. i'm the type of woman who goes above and beyond for a man who's worthy. i know how to hold down the fort without emasculating the man in my life. i'm a hardworking woman who is highly educated in both education and the streets. i have a zero tolerance for ignorance of any sort. i consider myself a compliment to the man; meaning he needs to be trained to go prior to meeting me. i'm very easy to please granted you're capable of exhibiting two behaviors; loyalty and respect. those qualities will keep a rare woman like myself around for a lifetime. yes, i am complex and sometimes emotional, but my nurturing, compassionate, empathetic and caring heart outweighs my character flaws. if you're ready for genuine, heartfelt know what to do. i look forward to hearing from you.
What I’m doing with my life
There was a time when I did as insanely much as I could. I thought working my ass off would get me everywhere. Instead, it got me *somewhere*, and not where I particularly wanted to be.

Now, I'm working hard without passion, partying half as hard, trying to cut down on the bitter in my remarks, forgetting to take my pills, learning how to do a proper Mojito, convincing my friends a Green Apple's a lot better with a touch of vermouth, balancing 3 sets of social lives. Like most of us.

I am also a recently discovered fan of making friends and an all-time fan of traveling of any sort - road tripping, business trips (oh, how I love those), hikes, you name it, I probably love it. :D
I’m really good at
Remembering stuff and being awkward in social situations. My best friend calls me Rain Man - you get the picture. :p

Other than that, I can make people laugh after I've had my first coffee, I can sing my heart out, makin' heads turn on karaoke nights, I lift people's moods like it's 1999 and then I get them to worry about me because I disappear without a word for days in a row.

And as I recently discovered, I'm pretty darned good at being stubborn.
The first things people usually notice about me
1. The glasses. They're fun - a '57 limited edition, put together especially for me.
2. The laughter. It's loud and colorful, perhaps the most honest sound I am capable of.
3. The eyes. They're...well, nobody ever agreed on the color :))
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Unless they're a relative mindfuck, I will most likely fall asleep during movies, but you may have the fav list. Behold!

Revolver, Dogville, Delicatessen, Rain Man, Love and other disasters (Hey, knock down that chuckle - girl needs to laugh some time, inn'at so? :D)
And I hate Amelie with a passion.

Mad Men, Suits, have I mentioned Mad Men?, The Big Bang Theory, Battlestar Galactica, Nip/Tuck, Seinfeld (puts me to sleep like no other)

The Golden Notebook (Doris Lessing)
The Dean's December (Saul Bellow)
Naked Sun (Isaac Asimov)
Neuromancer (William Gibson - I should read that again)
Player Piano - Kurt Vonnegut (annoyed the shit out of me and destroyed my faith in humanity)

My music mix is...colorful, to say the least.
I love Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Louie Prima and Vaya con Dios, but I listen to Jaar for breakfast. I wake up with T-Rex, and I go to bed with Jamiroquai. I draw on Empire of the Sun and Lais, write on Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone, code on The Migrants, I grieve on Mozart, smoke on anything, drink on Guns n' Roses and Oasis, rejoice on Coldplay and Stereophonics, and I hate in silence. The only sound that goes with hatred is the door closing.
The six things I could never do without
1: Fifi. My best friend. She's always there to catch me and she's had quite a bit of catching to do lately. She's a champ! :D
2: Music
3: something to strive for
4: something to laugh at
5: something to read
6: something to comment upon
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'll just go random about how to build a mind-reading device.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working till the morning light, enjoying wine in good company, (yes, that may mean more than one thing- they teach ambiguity in school), jabbering away with the most bored friend I can find, while watching Ally McBeal for the thousandth time.

Alternatively, I might have even finished work, in which case I'm hitting the town, socialising with real people. 10110111000 sequences tend to be a bit...untouchable.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like having people hate me for all sorts of minor reasons. And the most perverted part of it, is that I always make them realise how indispensable to their business I am.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 19–99
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
If you know the secret to have things work out the way you planned them. And don't give me the manage-your-time-wisely speech. It doesn't work with bohemian spirits. Magic, anyone?

And if you, too, believe that Camel are the sexiest cigarettes.
