My Self-Summary

I don't know really know how to describe myself, this whole process of writing down my "traits" seems very alien and insincere. I'm really just looking for someone to chat with and talk to. I'm a pretty normal guy who enjoys video games, movies, British television, fishing, hiking, and travel. I've felt like a fish out of water most of my life, and can be quite awkward, although I tend to use jokes to make myself feel a little calmer. I think I'm a good guy, but thats only my opinon. I get bored pretty easily so sometimes, but I usually find a way to amuse myself. I don't know what else to say... if I think of anything more, I'll just add it on later.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in school full-time, doing it online. Ashford University Online. So far, so good. I'm also leaving NY and going cross country. Little edit: I left and drove through a lot of states but fell in love with the mountains of Montana. So I'm staying here for a while.

I’m really good at

thinking on my feet, and making people feel comfortable and listening... I'm really good at listening, mostly because I'm good at nodding and looking like I'm paying attention.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have no idea what the first thing people usually notice about me is. So, instead, I'm gonna write what I think my best physical feature is... OK I really didn't think this through, I guess its my arms, they are well toned and I get compliments on them, and my hands. I've been told that I have nice hands, like a pianist.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I have started reading a lot lately. I just finished The Looking Glass Wars, and am about to start Seeing Red, which is the second book in that series. A few of my favorites are Alice in Wonderland, Of Human Bondage, The Harry Potter Series, and the Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

I watch a lot of movies. My current favorite is I Love You, Man. I like those type of comedies. I also enjoy the Harry Potter series, Slumdog Millionarie, and of course, the Star Wars. I'm a bit of a geek. A few of my favorite T.V. shows are How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Black Books, Three Sheets and No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain(my hero).

I listen to a lot of different music. It depends on my mood. I've recently got into country music and love it. My most played artists on my iPod are Gloriana, Say Anything, Vampire Weekend, The Airborne Toxic Event, Dave Matthews Band, and Jaymay. Its pretty eclectic.

I'm a bit of a foodie and love all types of food.
