Hi! My name's Alissa and I'm a Special Ed./ESOL teacher! I enjoy playing trivia, hiking, going to shows, doing adventurous things, etc. This whole online dating thing is new/kinda weird to me, but whatever- it's worth a shot, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I'm from Georgia (lived there pretty much my whole life). I recently decided it was time for a change of pace/scenery, so I sold my townhouse, got an apartment and teaching job in Portland, and here I am today. I'm super excited to see what this city's all about!
I’m really good at
Listening, partying, being a reliable person. Also, I'm really good at making people laugh. Because I'm funny. Hahaha jk.
(But really, it's true)
The first things people usually notice about me
My wild/crazy personality, perhaps? Or maybe my green eyes. OR probably the fact that I'm pretty loud.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
C'mon, ain't nobody got time to sit around and make lists of all their favorite shit.
But yes, I do have favorite books, movies, shows, music and food. If we end up meeting, we can discuss in person
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to answer these dumb dating website questions. And sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Welllllll in Atlanta, my friends and I would go to bars/ play trivia/do karaoke on a typical Friday night. Or just sit around my house and play video games/ watch movies.
But I JUST moved here and am trying to get to know people and the area, so on a typical Friday night, I'm just checking out new restaurants and bars and stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ummmmmm, I got a DUI when I was 19 years old and made the cop laugh the entire ride to jail. I'm sure I was telling him really dumb jokes and he probably felt bad for me.
Hmmm, what else. Oh, I used to be pretty heavy but lost around 150 lbs a few years back. So there's that.
You should message me if
....you are interested in what you've seen/read? Oh, and if you're a straight man (trust me- I needed to add this).
