My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see, what do you need/want to know about me?

- I'm open/honest to a fault.

- I am told by at least one person a week that I look familiar.

- Flakes and flakiness are my biggest pet peeves.

- I like spending time doing things like playing board games or going to the movies, cooking or watching our favorite shows together, but also like spur of the moment stuff like heading on a last minute road trip to Vegas, Palm Springs or Santa Barbara. Almost anything with a group of friends is likely to draw me in. I'm just sick of going by myself. :)

- All of the above being said, I don't need to be "doing something" to have fun. I'm happy pulling questions out of a hat and answering them in turn. It wouldn't hurt to have drinks in hand whilst doing so, but that's not required.

- It's seems cliche, but I do want to find my best friend.

- I don't really have a favorite type of music because it changes according to my mood and/or what I'm doing.

- I take at least two road trips a year to go watch football games and/or golf tournaments with my friends.

- I think breakfast is the most important meal of the day and as a result can (and should) be eaten at all possible times.

- I have a super flexible schedule that enables me to work from anywhere if need be, so we can go wherever you want whenever you're ready.

- I don't have kids...yet. Yes, it's possible that there is a successful, never married, occasionally said to be attractive, single male who doesn't have children in the world. I might be a damn unicorn, but I exist.

- I'm one of the top ten huggers on Earth.

- I actually like chick flicks. Girl movies, no. Chick flicks, yes.

- I give great gifts. AKA I pay attention all year long, not just in the weeks before your birthday and early December.

- Very few things make me as happy as "I miss you" or "thinking about you" text messages.

- There's no way I am worse than the last guy, right? :)

If you're wondering whether we'd click or not, here's a list of things that would make us much more likely to work well together:

- You are ready to enjoy life. We live in a place people around the world save months to come vacation. The least we can do is get out and watch the amazing sunsets or just go for a walk along the beach every once in awhile.

- Feeding off of the last one, you should like to eat. There is so much amazing food out there, I don't understand why we wouldn't want to enjoy it.

- You know the difference between working to live and living to work.

- Your baggage is gone, or at least stored somewher you can't easily access it. As much as I will try, I overcoming both my shortcomings (yes, I have some - damn honesty thing again) and those of everyone else you've ever dated is probably too much to accomplish.

- You realize that it's impossible to be "on" all the time. As great as it is, love does not mean that life is magical all day, every day. Fights, misunderstandings, annoyances and all of the things that make us human happen, but they are quickly forgotten in a special relationship.

- You participate in the process. I'm happy to reach out and be the first to text/call/send smoke signals, but it needs to become a two-way street relatively quickly. I want to feel like we're chasing each other rather than me being a caveman hunting you down.

- You have your financial act together or at least have a plan for getting that way.

- You have style. It may seem weird to read that from a guy, but then again, we've already been over the fact that I'm unique, haven't we? :)

Movies - Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Thomas Crown Affair, Tin Cup, Ocean's Trilogy, Casablanca, Caddyshack, Serendipity, Top Gun, Ugly Truth, A Few Good Men, way too many others to name.

TV Shows - Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Psych, White Collar, Happy Endings, Big Bang Theory, Friends, Covert Affairs, Castle, Suits, let's just say I can work a DVR well to get through all my shows and not have the tv run my life

Music - Almost all

Food - Almost all, but love steakhouses.

Books - Nothing too heavy. The Firm, Angels and Demons, Those Guys Have All the Fun, famous people's alleged autobiographies (mostly to laugh at how much they change things around in them).
