I am loyal, sarcastic, and optimistic.
My Self-Summary
I have lived in the south my entire life and I cannot wait for a
change and a new experience that I'm sure will come with the move I
just made.
I have less than a year left to get a Bachelor's degree in
Marketing but I am putting it aside to pursue a culinary career.
There are few things better in the world than an amazing meal and I
love making people happy through food.
I love movies, preferably comedies, music that makes me smile,
guilty pleasures, good food with good company, traveling,
discovering new things and places, meeting friends for coffee and
conversation, going for midnight drives, sports, preferably women's
sports, more specifically basketball, soccer, and softball, movie
marathons at home, Dr. Pepper, spending quality time with the
people I care most about.
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to Brooklyn and I'm starting culinary school in
November. I moved from Orlando, FL and am not missing the 95 degree
humid weather at all!
I’m really good at
being sarcastic, being competitive, quoting movies, remembering
useless information such as movie quotes, giving hugs, making
people smile, I can make a damn good latte and I'm just as good at
drinking them!
The first things people usually notice about me
My freckles or my eyes. I'm also really short...like really, really
short.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I prefer comedies and cheesy dramatic movies. I love having "movie
marathons" on random weekend days. As far as TV goes I mainly watch
ridiculously bad reality TV but my favorite shows are Top Chef, 30
Rock, and Arrested Development.
I love Ani Difranco, Tegan and Sara, Brandi Carlile, The Beatles,
Wilco, Lupe Fiasco. Really I'll listen to just about
anything.
I love cooking, and I love discovering good new restaurants. I
can't wait to start Culinary school and to start learning as much
as possible.
The six things I could never do without
Family, Good Food, Coffee/Dr. Pepper (Yes, they count as one!),
Women's Basketball (the day Diana Taurasi retires will be a very
dark day in my world), Music (I wish I could have permanent
headphones implanted into my head so I could listen to music
non-stop, I would be a very happy person), Humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, my past, my dreams and goals, and lots of little things
that are less serious and more amusing to think about.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I grew up in Alabama and I use it as my excuse for everything.
You should message me if
You wouldn't mind showing a clueless person around the city. You
actually want to talk, hang out, etc. You enjoy good food and good
company. You like going to concerts and other various events and
would like someone to tag along with you in the future.
