I'm unabashedly enthusiastic about the things I like. Or, in other words, I totally geek out over stuff, lol. I will dance when I feel like dancing, even if nobody else is. I just like to move my body. If people stare, I just laugh. Life's too short to waste time feeling embarrassed at being caught enjoying something or acting silly.
I can get very animated when I talk, and I talk with my hands quite a bit.
I read for pleasure rather a lot (probably too much of it sci-fi/fantasy), and like to have a book or sketch pad and pencil nearby.
I sincerely wish I saw more live theater. There's a kinetic passion in live performance and a tacit audience participation between the artist or actors that is lacking in prerecorded media. Watching a movie is fun, but it's a tame, one-way experience compared to theater.
I'm slender and I exercise, but I'm still plenty curvy. I've had two kids though. I have a flat stomach and reasonably toned abs, but my skin will never be completely smooth again, and I'm completely okay with it. Life is meant to leave marks on our bodies. If you're not okay with that, there are plenty of other girls for you. :)
I love cooking and trying new foods. Indian, thai, cajun/creole, really fresh seafood... It doesn't have to be fancy, but it needs flavor.
I love to have an adventure wherever I end up. Being lost in a strange city is a puzzle to solve and an opportunity for new experiences. Even if it's just right in the city I live in. I once found myself at the top of the bell tower in the Old City Hall building at 2am after sneaking in the unlocked door. The view of Tacoma from between the beautiful italianate arches as the full moon shone down is a sight I'll never forget as long as I live.
At the end of the day, though, it's so nice to come home, strip down to something comfortable, and relax.
