What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a fascinating day job, dancing, reading, learning, laughing, and saving the world (in a social justice-y fashion.)

And looking for folks with whom to spend my nights off from world-saving ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making people smile, exercising impeccable comedic timing, remembering things, expressing myself, dancing, and making friends.
The first things people usually notice about me

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: sci-fi/fantasy and trying to expand my nonfiction reading. I'm seeking good book recommendations!

Movies: clever rom coms, sci fi/fantasy flics, and some psychological thrillers. I find that I can tell whether I'll get along with someone based almost entirely on similarity of film and television taste. So some of my favorite movies are The Blind Side, Love Actually, Chocolat, Midnight in Paris, V for Vendetta, Warm Bodies, Practical Magic, Stardust, Frozen, Stranger Than Fiction, The Birdcage and pretty much everything Disney and Pixar ever made.

TV: Cosmos, Star Trek, Community, Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), M*A*S*H, Castle, NCIS, The West Wing, Torchwood, Doctor Who, and In the Flesh. And BBC's Sherlock. Oh man, do I love BBC's Sherlock.

Music: Eclectic! Imogen Heap, Pink Floyd, Broadway cast recordings, Vertical Horizon, The Civil Wars, Sarah Jarosz and tons more. I also have a fiendish adoration for Eric Whitacre and Dmitri Shostakovich.

Food: Mexican, Thai, Nepalese, Indian, Italian, and seafood, but I like to be challenged to try new things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Making people laugh
2) Learning
3) Dancing
4) Socializing
5) Being a total nerd
6) Thinking
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how the world and we who live in it came to be in our current state. I love science and history.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
looking for something fun and exciting to do. Care to show me something new and different?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I probably like Harry Potter more than anyone that you know likes it. And if you're considering challenging me on that point, all I'm saying is you'd best not bring a knife to a gun fight.

you're up for laughing, talking, cuddling, and more and if you can employ proper grammar, usage, punctuation, and capitalization. I'm just a sucker for complete sentences and good word choice.

I'm also looking for new friends since I'm new to Vermont.
