My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Work In Progress
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good with numbers . they speak to me. I am a fierce backgammon player. Though the numbers can help you but at one point you have to follow your heart......
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Paul Auster, Haruki Murakami, Orhan Pamuk, Charles Bukoswky, John Fante , Jose Saramago, Neruda to name few of my favorite writers.
Movies : Wong Kar Wai, Almadovar, Woody Allen, Coen Brothers, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Hayao Miyazaki
Music :Tom Waits,Keith Jarret, Steven Bernstein's MTO, The Bad Plus, All Bebop Classics, Hip hop
Performance : Modern Dance: David Dorfman Dance,
Art : Photograpy, I am myself a serious amateur. ( OK not that serious . it is my hobby....but my living room can turn into a photo studio in 15 minutes but also love shooting out on the streets . The Photographers I admire: Sabastiao Salgado, Daido Moriyama, Ara Guler, Avedon, Lindsey Addario.....

Food : Sushi is what I would eat as last thing to enjoy if I knew the world to end the day after. Probably at Ushiwakamaru, if I can't make to Japan....
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1: Pencils and the sharpener of course.
2: Camera : My dear Leica M - nope it's not film. This classic rangefinder body has a digital sensor update on it. But still can fit any lens made back in 50s. Never leave home without it.
3: My Vespa PX . It gets me anywhere in the city in 15 minutes. Its two stroke engine in a spring morning is a music to my ears. ( a helmet )
4:All digital gadgets by Apple.
5: Coffee and my Peugeot manual coffee grinder. A design that hasn't changed since 1800s. The best way to get the flavor out of beans. Certain things should stay low-tech.
6: Jazz : preferably live at the Smalls.
6: Sushi...
6. NY Times Sunday Paper
6: Converse Slip-ons. Have multiple pairs of them.

and as for 7 : none of the above. we human beings have amazing ability to adopt to new conditions. we can give up any habits and adopt new ones if need to ...no...?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
it depends. Meeting up friends for movies , drinks or enjoy being by myself at home with music and a good book. It is a thrill to come home from work every other friday. I have an awesome cleaning person that makes my place spotless. Those nights are more likely that I might be home.
