My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a half Chamorro and if you ever meet another Chamorro I'll send you a penny in the mail.

I love to learn and jump from one challenge to another, I get bored easily with doing the same things day in and day out. I'm looking for a mind mate more than anything else, someone I can connect with in a way that will always drive to push me to learn, to understand so that I can talk with my partner with a renewed energy every day.

So I don't look aimless, my long term life goals are as follows: Start a career with the Foreign Service or spend time doing network security professionally. With enough hard work and if I have a bit of luck on my side those things may overlap. It took a long time for me to realize that well planned, articulated goals are an integral part of achieving that which a person wants most.

Unless you're exceptionally unique, like Astronaut Janitor unique, we'll have some kind of overlapping interest or history.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a major pharmaceutical company and trying to find someone compatible that inspires my adventurous side. I would like to get a NorSea38 and sail the Pacific with my future significant, or just a really close friend.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking care of people, at least until they can take care of themselves and arguing over terribly nerdy topics for hours.

I can also drink Earl Grey tea and recite most of Carl Sagan's Cosmos series when in the right mood.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When you hear me, it's the inflection in my voice.

When you see me, it's that I'm bombastic and serious.

When you look at me, it's my hair, my face and how tired my eyes have started to look.

When you love me, it's my mind, body and soul.

This list could go on forever and this is just what I can think of off the top of my head.

Authors: Phillip K. Dick, Carl Sagan, Richard Adams, Douglas Adams, Anne McCaffery, Albert Camus.
Genres: Classics, Sci-fi, Cyberpunk, Fantasy, Philosophy and History books I'll read until the sun comes up and will likely go to work exhausted because of it.
Movies: Bubba Ho-Tep, Pi, 2001: A Space Odyssey
Directors: Sam Raimi, Quentin Tarantino, Prachya Pinkaew, Martin Scorsese, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, the Wachowskis, Hayao Miyazaki and Ang Lee for starters.
Genres: Martial Arts, Sci-Fi and Documentaries, Westerns, Thillers and I love a good Monster Movie.

After going through the 1,000 movies you must see before you die book, I realize that I will need to spend a lifetime watching movies.
I am partial to Thai food but am down for really anything. I dig alternative lifestyles along with the Chicago classics. So everything from freegan turmeric spiced chopped potato dishes served at a Food Not Bombs to a dipped Beef with hot peppers at an Al's Beef.

Just don't use the word "Foodie" around me, it upsets me.
Music really comes and goes with me, though the last few concerts that I was at were The Books, The Faint and Of Montreal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, nightmares, a damn good book, philosophy, sarcasm and a fast computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The short answer is:

If I'm doing the right thing with my life and why I do what I do on a daily basis. I want to know about myself and about the world.

The long answer is:

There are so many things that run through my mind, if you really feel like chatting about interesting things talk to me from about 2-5 in the morning. I either get very pragmatic, or am reading something I feel like talking about.

I want to know why I'm lonely even when I'm surrounded by the people that I love, why my friends are unhappy, why people have to deal with the most simplistic and easily resolved problems in terribly complicated ways.

Are these questions that can be answered? Can logic lead me there? Or are these non-rational empirical questions?

Hell maybe I'm even doing that wrong. Sometimes I just want to act like a fool to get my mind off it all and I wouldn't mind company.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends sitting around one of our homes and watching movies playing board games and discussing the silly things in life.

Occasionally it involves going out and drinking, or grabbing a nice dinner with us chatting the night away until the early hours of the morning.

Sometimes it's a combination.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wish I was more self reliant, I strive for independence but secretly I don't even like going to the grocery store alone because I loathe the mundane. Epicurus believed that we should not even snack alone and I tend to agree. With other people things become that much more interesting. Exponential mental growth.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you feel like chatting with someone who spent four years of their life doing philosophy or if you would like to make a friend.

Also if you're more interested in Asian Fission than Asian Fusion.

If you would watch the reality show "Who wants to fight a Million Bears?"

Or if you're a big ole' nerd.
