My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Generally, I'm a reserved person when meeting new people but once I get to know someone I'm much more outgoing. I hate small talk. I enjoy spending time outside being active and I love playing Ultimate. I'm a pretty sarcastic person, though I'm much more polite to those I just met. I have a broad sense of humor. A lot of what I see from day to day makes me smile and occasionally laugh. I even have a good laugh at least once a day at my own expense.

Finally, if you know/care about the myer-briggs test, I'm an INTJ.

If there is anything else, feel free to ask because I don't feel like rambling on about myself
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I ask myself this same question almost every day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, having random bits of knowledge, and photogaphy (or at least I like to think I am)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and smile (like almost everyone else in here)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I hate listing things out but here it goes. I like a broad array of fiction books. The authors I like are Orson Scott Card, Dean Koontz, J.K. Rowling, Dan Brown, (Da Vinci Code was my least favorite of his), Brandon Sanderson, and Isaac Asimov. Though that does't cover everything, it's just a sampling. Oh, and One Second After as well as The Demon in the Freezer.

I'm not terribly picky about movies though action movies are the ones that I'm more likely to go to the theater to see.

My taste in tv shows are humorous like Tosh.0, bob's burgers, archer, the daily show, Colbert report, Arrested Development.

And I just love food. I've eaten quite a few different things including jellyfish. It's much easier to list the things I won't eat: spaghetti (However, I do like other types of pastas), hot dogs, and carrot cake.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
O2, H2O, C8H11NO2, C10H12N2O, Amino Acids, C6H12O6 -- yeah, I'm a nerd.. I do find this a little amusing

Most things I can get by without. I like the ammonites of life but I'm not teribly materialistic. But to actually answer the question:
Internet, a frisbee, my guitar, coca-cola, a comfortable pair of shoes, my glasses/contacts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why there is so much cotton in little pill bottles. Why phonetic isn't spelled the way it sounds. What the best thing before sliced bread could have been. Who got to decide alphabetical order and what were their qualifications. Would we ever know if a word in the dictionary was misspelled. And what to do when society collapses/end of the world comes.

So basically, nothing in particular. Well, not anymore since Ultimate season has just started so most of my thoughts are spent planning the next practice.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I either spend it at home relaxing or listing to live music at one of my favorite bars. Oh, and using the pickup line," I wish I was your DNA Helicase so that I could unzip your genes." (once again, nerd jokes, I've got plenty of them)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is plenty I am willing to share with people, but you'll actually have to put in the egregious effort of asking me.

If anything I've said at all makes you want to have a conversation

*I will not respond to people who can only say hi, hello, hey, what's up, how are you, and any variation of the like. I put some substance in my profile for a reason. Pick something from there or but pick anything that's a good conversation starter. Seriously folks, how am I suppose to reply to those? Say hey back? That's not going to get us anywhere. Or respond to 'what's up' or 'how are you,' I say something along the lines of not much, I'm doing well. Or do you really want me to get into my life story?

So have substance to your message, put some thought into it. I'm not going to put any effort into carrying a conversation with someone who can't put a few extra seconds of thought into their initial contact.*

Alright, I'm done with my ranting but I honestly thought that I wouldn't have to stipulate this so I'm a kinda annoyed..
