My parents were Sci Fi junkies so they named me after the star in the summer triangle, and from their ( at the time ) favorite Sci Fi movie from 1952, "Forbidden Planet" with a young Leslie Nielson. I came to Oregon in 2001 with my daughter after a divorce. Took awhile to get used to the rain but am used it now. I especially like the summers when I can have fun with water sports. l enjoy water skiing, jet skis, sailing, and just hanging out at the river. In winter I go snow skiing and have tried snowboarding, although I am down more than I am up. I enjoy the karaoke scene, and can be found belting out a tune, or trying to, every now and then. People say I sound like France Joli and I do a good rendition of her song "Come to Me" - or so I'm told. If not it's them lying not me. ha ha I have a US Government job but don't ask what it is or some of the boys will come knocking on your door. I have a 5 day a week stressful job and come here to unwind and let it out and have fun by chatting and checking out the various forums. I am tired of the disappointments of the dating scene and am really kind of here for social networking, chatting, forums, and friends - sort of a time out from dating, so don't ask if I will go out with you. I am a lady at heart, but also love things like camping under the stars ( no motorhomes for me ) along with it's related activities like 4 wheeling or fishing. Also have taken a liking to skeet shooting and plinking cans. Sorry, no animal killer here unless for the frying pan. Have eaten squirrel, rabbit, quail, frogs legs, catfish, and rattlesnake. I'm not squeamish around bugs or snakes or baiting my own fishing hook. It's all part of the outdoors.

Working my butt off to provide a college education for my daughter and to work for retirement- if there will be anything left to divvy up when I get there. I like getting outdoors and doing things as to sitting at home on a couch. Sounds funny for a woman my age, but I like things like roller skating on the beach boardwalk or down to the corner market. I was thinking about trying out for the Rose City Rollers as I kind of dig the roller games, and I think I could dish out more than I take - or hopefully so. I'm not opposed to a few scrapes and bruises received in the process of hip checking some chick off the track. lol I think i even have a name for myself- RedRumRunner ( or triple R )- red for my hair-redrum for murder backwards = runner for running them other girls off the track into the spectators. Oh yeah, bring it on! One of my pics shows what will happen if someone gets in my way. lol

Is my red hair and green eyes. You can't miss me in a crowd. OK, maybe if you were in a Scottish market of something. Some people make fun of my hair but I really am a natural redhead, though admittedly I do tweak the shade of red now and then.

I don' read a lot of books anymore. I am more into doing it instead of reading about it. I love most types of music- is rap music? My opinion is that it is rap, just doesn't have the "C" in front of it. I listen to whatever music goes well with the mood I am in, anywhere from classical to rockin' oldies and 60's-70's rock is my favorite. Food, anything but sushi. And I don't eat any other seafood raw either. Oysters? Gag me! There should be a law against raw.

Way too much that is really not that important or things that I can't do anything about. If I can't do something about something, why worry? If you can, then stop whining and do it.

Usually in bed halfway early - like 11:00 if I happen to be working Saturday. But sometimes the old insomnia hits and I am up til all hours. If not I may be out at a karaoke bar raising a storm. And if in a different mood I may watch a sad movie on Lifetime or pay per view. Who's got the popcorn and kleenix?

Wouldn't you like to know. I admit nothing, I didn't do it! it's not my fault!! But at least I didn't use the lame cliche line, "If
I told you it wouldn't be private." OK, I will say one thing, I did some modeling when I was younger.
