I am confused, mysterious, and theatrical.

My Self-Summary

I am a musician, a playwright, a poet, and an actor. I also have been known to tell stories - in fact, there's a DVD of me doing just that. I hold a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with a double major in English (Creative Writing), and a master's degree in Professional Communications. I'm on more websites than it is healthy for one human being to be on.

Overall, I like to think of myself as being somewhat goofy and easy-going. It takes a lot to get me riled up, although the few people who have seen me genuinely angry have compared it to watching a nuclear test site go off.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently selling myself as a storyteller and performer, although occasionally I can be found directing. I'm working on my next album and on lining up gigs for storytelling and folk music, while working on a new play to be performed this coming October. I'm also fascinated by photography, although it's mainly a hobby.

I’m really good at

Telling stories, giving backrubs, and causing a general ruckus and confusion.

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair and my eyes, I've been told.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Someplace to be Flying, The Empty Space, The Physical Comedy Handbook, Tricks of the Trade

Movies: The Red Violin, The Princess Bride, Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Music: Oingo Boingo, Spin Doctors, Beatles, James McMurtry

Food: Pizza, steak, mexicali

The six things I could never do without

1. Music. 2. Conversation. 3. Something to write with. 4. Something to write on. 5. My camera. 6. Water.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The rotation of the Earth in comparison with the general movement of the universe - how the movement that seems so massive to me is so infinitesimal in the grand scheme of things. And what of the universe, itself? Does it move? Does it rotate or revolve or do both at once? If it revolves, then around what? And is it, too, part of a larger system in which its own movements seem almost tiny by comparison? And what is Christina Ricci like in bed?

On a typical Friday night I am

Rehearsing. Always with the rehearsing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

As a child, I always wanted to grow up to be Eugene Levy.

...

I'm not joking.

You dig the indie writer/singer/storyteller scene, you want to trade writing, or you just enjoy good and random conversation every now and then.
