My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ok, let's try once more...

To beginn describing myself, I would probably say that I'm rather independent. I was using public transport on my own by age 8 (which other mothers thought of as very dangerous at that time), started off the St. Jackobs Way pilgrimage on my own at age 16 and moved out from home at age 20, Nowadays I'm going from country to country to learn languages and their culture while trying to start my professional career (kind of hopless).

No-one would probably make the mistake of considering that I'm an average guy (once one person did, and was utterly dissappointed): I don't watch TV at all, I'm a morning person which goes early to bed and doesn't like clubbing, and if I could I would spend my life studying at the university (someday I shall return to study some more masters, meanwhile I learn languages...).

On the other hand, for those people brave enough to try to get to know me better, I'm also a very open, sincere and warm hearted person. I mean, I'm like that all the time, but I guess that it's not automatically perceivable to all because of my kind of cynic attitude and dark sense of humor. But once you know me, I'm a bit like a big dog: faithfull, caring, funny, absorbing and time consuming. :D

Oh, I forgot: I'm also housetrained. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Was born, went through school, grew wide instead of tall, went to university, shrank to normal proportions again, studied a master in Bioethics (in what? In Bioethics: you heard it right, even if no one knows what it is), went to Russia over winter, came back (which is not necessarily obvious, some people don't), and had the crazy idea of joining the Swiss Army for fun.

Well, it wasn't too fun... I guess comedies like "Achtung, Fertig, Charlie!" are not the best source to create ones' expectations about reality: but I succeeded once more and I'm free like a bird! :D

Now I'm planning and organizing my new projects for 2015: I have basically already booked the whole year:

-From January till April 2015 I will be in the far far South Africa, getting my English Proficiency exam and the Divemasters' course to become a professional diver. And of course, I'm really looking forward to get to know that amazing and not very well known country! If you are from there, I would be very happy if you showed me around! :)

From May til July, I will be back in Russia. Destination not yet defined: maybe Irkutsk? Novosibirsk? Vladivostok? There is only one rule: the farther, the better. :D

From July till October I will be back in Switzerland, in Stans. It's important to give each country at least a second chance. ;)

And finally, the rest of the year I will be working in the Balkans, and let's see who I meet there! haha
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcasm and Trolling around...
Studying languages and stuff.
Planning great adventures, putting them into motion, and then regretting the very day I came up with that "brilliant" idea. Yes, my life can be actually divided between those moments where I'm actively looking for "adventures" (=problems), and those where I have to regret having found them! :D
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The only thing I know is that usually everyone knows me but I don't know them. Some years ago it was obvious that this was because I was somewhat over-weighted, but nowadays I have no clue as to why I'm so noticeable...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: I love movies and cinema. I like war movies and I'm discovering the inmense production of russian films (Mosfilm), which are sadly mostly unknown in Europe.

Books: There are way too many books to be read as to read a book twice. Good thing that I have a good memory!

Lately, for example, I read 2 interesting books: "Narziss und Goldmund", by Hermann Hesse, and "The rise and fall of the third chimpanze", by Jared Diamond. I can also add "Edad Prohibida". Curiously, I have had quite a lot of time for reading in the army! :)

Food: I love going out to restaurants for dinner! As someone once put it, "your hobby is eating". He was as right as one can be.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Home is where internet connects itself automatically, so probably internet is vital to me! Although lately I don't even know what to do with it!

Lebensraum: I guess that I'm a rather independent person and that I need quite a lot of time for myself. Also, from year to year I increasingly feel the urge to travel abroad for some months. Routine wasn't made for me!

Learning: Life would be pointless if you couldn't learn new things!

Women: Life would definitively be pointless and dull if there weren't women around to put some color into it with their easy laughs and their shining smiles and their eyes full of warmth. ^^

And because that only makes four, and people always tend to say how much they need air and water and food to subsist, I will bring two more fundamental needs than those: the eternal laws of nature and carbon based chemistry. Without those, we could definitively not subsist. :P
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much I simultaneously love and hate humanity... and what "42" actually means!

Also, I'm still trying to solve the mystery about why women aren't attracted by good guys, even though they usually spend half of their profile swearing about how much they hate "bad guys". Maybe they don't recognize a good guy when they encounter one? Or is it too good to be true and they simply don't believe it? Are good guys scary because their motivation to be good guys is not understandable? Is it biology and genes? Am I thinking too much?

...And, of course, I usually spend my nights elaborating plans for world domination!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
What is a typicall friday nowadays? :P
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that i like to cuddle a lot. :D
