My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
(Disclaimer! -- my profile says gay because I was exhausted from receiving 20+ messages daily from guys saying "Sup"... although I would love to meet some new girlfriends.)

ANYWHO, I am from the Southern regions of California and moved up to the bay area 4 and some years ago. I really loved it, and think San Francisco is one of the most magical places on the planet. Just recently left to work in LA for the summer and will soon be moving up to Portland Oregon.

I have a great sense of humor and love finding a reason to smile in any situation. In other words I am so "glass half full" it can verge on annoying...

My passions are art, design, and following new whims. I try to pursue new creative projects often and to always learn new things. I'm always down to take a new class, read a new book, or go somewhere I've never gone before. My favorite part of meeting new people is being able to emerge myself into someone else's bliss. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finished Design School, working at Mattel with Hot Wheels and UNO, relocating to Portland... next week I am going swimming with Beluga Whales so that's pretty awesome.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
"Winging it".
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile, and demeanor. I love to have fun and not take myself too seriously.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm a big fan of short stories... I feel like they're a lot less daunting to finish. Particular favorites:
Miranda July- No One Belongs Here More Than You
Augusten Burroughs- Possible Side Effects
Etgar Keret- The Bus Driver Who Wanted to be God
Mindy Kahling- Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me

Love movies, will give almost anything a shot. Can't go wrong with a classic Disney, Wes Andersen, Quentin Tarantino, or Spice World.

As far as TV goes I like to keep it light hearted, usually watching Parks and Rec, Always Sunny, Modern Family, or the Office.

With food I like to mix it up and try new things. Although I like to stay mainly vegetarian and work within that realm. Right now I am having a love affair with Indian and Ethiopian.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My phone (unfortunately),
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hopefully with good friends, as long as I have that the rest is always an adventure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm terrified of OKCupid. :P
