My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
sitting here listening to D'angelo's new album trying to figure out what to write in my self summary. In truth, i hate this part but... here...goes......
Native new yorker-sort of; born in the Bronx, grew up in the burbs, and have lived in Brooklyn for a real long time.
I like using semi colons
I overuse commas

I travel whenever i can
Recently reclaimed my bike from when i was 13 years old-it's in remarkably good condition. So now I bike! It's a Raleigh ten speed and super dope in case you are dying of curiosity.

Loyal as hell, pretty good friend

Conjunctions are hard for me-multiple meanings there.
This D'angelo album is amazing.

This is a work in progress, it's progressing slowly.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at taking up empty space on profiles with lots of words that say very little about me.
I'm also good at drinking whiskey.

I'm medium at:
drawing, photography, creative bits
finishing books
my commitment to practicing spanish

It's really hard to pick favorites, but i'll try.
I'm kind of classical book gal, so some of my faves include Don Quixote, One Hundred Years of Solitude (really anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez), Conan Doyle, Streetcar named desire (i know it's a play, but i'm putting it in anyway), Russian lit-depressing as hell, but really good. I'm super into the Game of Thrones books right now. I also kind of love Michael Chabon, The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, and Yiddish Police Man's Union are up there, currently reading the Goldfinch and loving it.

As for music, i mean seriously, i can't really pick favorites. I listen to it all from cash to bon iver to mos def. My go to music right now is probably a bunch of indie bands. Polica, Coco Rosie, Sharon Van Etton, London Grammar, The Julie Ruin, YYY's and anything Karen O, XX, Florence and the Machines, Alt-J, clearly the new D'angelo album, into the new Sleater Kinney as well, and a bunch of other shit are on the indie rotation these days.

As for food, i eat it all. I was a vegetarian for 15 years and started eating meat again about eight years ago and now i'm a serious carnivore. I know, i get it, i just opened a flood gate to a lot of really bad jokes. But really, I will eat just about anything, as long as it's delicious. Ok maybe not anything, but i'll try most of it once.

Movies/TV,
Goodfellas, Goonies, Drive, The Usual Suspects, Breakfast Club, anything by Pedro Almodovar, old Woody Allen.
