My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you plan on texting or emailing with no intention of meeting, don't bother.

Oh! And NO, I will NOT meet you at your house for a first meeting.

I don't want to become a lampshade in some guys creepy apartment. (true feelings and movie reference!)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I just started a job. But I feel like I'm in one of those fables where I was tricked into taking the job. Now, I'm looking for something else and working on starting my own business on the side.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding great restaurants, cooking (always trying new things) and fixing things around the house without directions...most of the time. Power tools and blow torches are fun!

Singing in the shower?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most people notice my giant hair. I've usually got a giant puffy curly mass on top of my head. Want to find me in a crowd? Look for that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books, I love reading! I dig the Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger and the Kingkiller series by Patrick Rothfuss. I started the Emperors Edge series as well. I like some fantasy and sci fi as well as other random fiction. But in general as long as it's entertaining I don't care about the genre. Although that 50 Shades crap can go die in a fire.

Movies and TV, who doesn't love movies, right? I love Anchorman, and mostly any other Judd Apatow involved film. Psycho Beach Party, Roman Holiday, Pan's Labyrinth, Serenity, movies with explosives or spies, and the series Firefly. Love, love, LOVE New Girl, Revenge, Once Upon a Time...there's other stuff but I can't remember.

Music, I'm pretty open as long as it doesn't sound like music that belongs in some kid's show. I'm talking to you Owl City! Classic rock, alt, pop, punk, blues, metal and folk. I like it all and I like it loud. I just started listening to Marina and the Diamonds. Pretty fun stuff!

Food! I love it. I love eating it and making it. I love sushi, pho, ramen, lasagna, risotto, name it and I probably eat it.

After some rereading, it appears my list of food items consists of primarily carbs....I'm okay with this. However I have been known to eat kale from time to time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laughter (cliche, I know)
Tasty food items
Good friends
My android device (suck it Apple!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Making that last thing I saw on the food network. Chopped is an addiction. I make no apologies for it.

Oh and planning my next out of country vacation. Went to London for the Olympics in 2012, and throughout the last couple years and now I'm ready for somewhere else!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It used to be beer Friday.

Now I need a new thing. I just moved here so that's to be decided.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I grew up in Central Washington. Glad I got out of there. And..I could probably dead lift most of you.

You're kind, funny, caring and up for an adventure.

You're opening line is NOT something involving sex, sexual acts, or my underpant sizing, etc. That's right, I said undahpants!
