I am intellectual, caffeinated, and a humongous dork.
My Self-Summary
Hello everyone! I'm living in Beloit and having a little trouble
finding some people in the area, so I put myself up here. I'm big
into sci-fi as well as music (especially
Led Zeppelin and the
Grateful Dead) and
I've been working on my sketchbook lately.
I'm an atheist and I love playing chess or any other strategy
games, and I often drive up into Madison to hang out with my
friends out on State street. Hookahs are awesome, as well as
endless pots of coffee at 24-hour diners.
I'm
polyamorous, which is something that
turns off a lot of people - if you don't like it, I can't really
apologize; it's just who I am.
I don't like guys or girls - I like PEOPLE, doesn't matter what the
plumbing is. I guess the best word would be "ambisextrous."
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm getting back into school. Hopefully I'll have an
Education degree by the time I'm 25. I'm looking to major in the
Chemistry/Physics area, although that's not quite figured out yet.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh,
chess, video games, talking too much,
writing papers, getting my friends into trouble and getting my
friends out of trouble.
I'm good at a few other things as well, but you'll have to message
me to find those out. ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
What? You'll have to ask them. I'm tall and skinneh, and I have a
favorite hat that looks like Fidel Castro's hat. I have a very
strange sense of humor.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books are The
Watchmen,
Dune, and The Fountainhead by Alan Moore,
Frank Herbert, and Ayn Rand, respectively.
My favorite movie (right now) is Waking Life, followed closely by
Steamboy and Grindhouse.
My favorite music is all over the place. I love classic rock, like
Led Zeppelin, the Grateful Dead,
Phish, Blues Traveler, and America. I also
love good old bluegrass and early country, like Bob Dylan,
Creedence Clearwater
Revival and
Crosby, Stills,
Nash and Young. Don't forget Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, and Wall
of Voodoo. Maybe throw in a little
Incubus and
Sublime, stir well, bake for 25 minutes
at 350 degrees.
The six things I could never do without
-A jacket. (I have a jacket collection, no I am not ashamed of
this. Do they have names? I'll never tell.)
-A sketchbook. (I'm constantly
sketching and
drawing)
-A can of
Mountain Dew. And by 'can' I mean
'barrel.'
-My MP3 player/cell phone hybrid.
-A bunch of
caramels,
root beer barrels, or
altoids.
-5 gallons of kerosene.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whenever I'm bored I start thinking of ways to survive a
zombie
apocalypse, or how to get out of crazy situations. ("What if
that guy by the counter pulled out a gun? I'd duck over here by the
vending machine and grab...") By the way, I would TOTALLY survive a
zombie apocalypse, so if you're interested in living you should
stick with me.
Usually when I'm in a less silly mood I think about things like
life, Socratic ideas like 'what makes a good life' and 'how can a
man truly be moral' or things like that. I like philosophy a lot,
and there's not many better things in life than a good long
discussion about life with a buddy. Especially if it's over coffee
and a cigarette.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday night I don't usually sleep until 3 or 4 AM. I'm not much of
a drinker or a partier, but I sure like to have fun! I'm usually
the kid who gets the bad ideas, like "Let's set this couch on fire"
or "Let's steal lawn gnomes... ALL OF THEM"
Why? Well, it's because Monday-Friday I spend all day working.
Literally. Work-Eat-Sleep-Repeat. So when the weekend comes around,
I have a lot to catch up on!
Strangely enough, I don't usually go to parties during the weekend.
Drunk people aren't interesting to me, and I don't like being
drunk. So usually I'm either misbehaving with my room mates or
sitting around at home drawing or something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Oh, don't get me started...
No seriously. Send me a message and ask! I love to hear from
people, and who doesn't like to talk about themselves?
Here's a hint: "Amadameus" is my name on the internet, no matter
where I go.
You should message me if
You are human, you can read and write english.
Oh, and if you're not creepy. Please, please don't be creepy.
