I'm outgoing. The world has much too much to discover, but I'm working on it. I love to laugh, enjoy good food and music, and get the most out of things. I love wandering off the beaten path, creating, and seeing things from multiple angles. I'm driven and outspoken, but I love to listen and connect with people.

I'm completing my masters degree in Expressive Arts in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding. I study the role and potential of the arts in settings of conflict, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. I'm a trained mediator, and I'm building skills in facilitation and program management.

I moved to DC last year, and I love it here. I want to take advantage of what the city has to offer.

Cooking (yep, I'm a foodie), being open and connecting with different types of people, reading people, thinking out of the box, listening, singing, drawing.

My hair, sociability, sensitivity, capability, cleverness, resourcefulness, my sense of humor.

Books: I haven't read for fun for a while, since I have lots of schoolwork. I generally like fiction. I've been working through David Copperfield for about a year and a half.

Movies: Classic slapstick comedies like films with/by Peter Sellars, Mel Brooks, anything with Christopher Guest, witty comedies, old classics like Alfred Hitchcock films, anything well-made.

Music: I love a lot of everything. Don't believe me? CSNY, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Steve Miller, America, U2, Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Aerosmith. Classical (I love Mozart for playing with the rules and Beethoven for outright breaking them, Bach's double violin concerto in D minor), Opera (Va Pensiero, Wintersturme), some New Age (Loreena McKennitt, some Enya), Musical Theater, Jazz, etc. Hand me a microphone at a Karaoke bar, and I'll like anything!

TV: No Reservations, Jeopardy, Arrested Development, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Sunday Morning.

Well...I've never told this to anyone out loud...but...I have this secret disdain for putting information that should be revealed in a face to face conversation into little boxes.
