My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Wandering off the beaten path and taking the road less travelled? Though I haven't purposefully tried to live this way, I've often just found myself gravitating toward exploration. I love travel, new ideas, creating, and seeing things from multiple angles. I'm driven, outspoken, outgoing, and I love to listen and connect with people.

I'm excited about food, creative projects, music, humor, airports or train stations...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My MA is in Expressive Arts in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding, and I work as a Dialogue Facilitator, Arts Facilitator, and Program Officer with multiple local organizations. Arts-based Peacebuilding is a new and emerging field, and there's really no set path. This is so exciting for me, and I'm passionate about what I do, even if it takes a lot of work.

To help pay the rent, I also work part-time at a marvelous food coop with good people, and lots of amazing options for people who feel strongly about local and organic food, the cooperative movement, and the solidarity economy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking (I love both the making and the eating part), being open and connecting with different types of people, reading people, thinking out of the box, listening, singing, and making art.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my sense of humor, capability, cleverness, and resourcefulness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Man, I haven't read for fun in such a long time. I do love the classics: Austin, Dickens, etc.

Movies: Classic slapstick comedies like films with/by Peter Sellars, Mel Brooks, anything with Christopher Guest, witty comedies, old classics like Alfred Hitchcock films, anything well-made. I like the oldies.

Music: CSNY, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Steve Miller, Free, Bad Company, America, U2, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Aerosmith, Boston, Gordon Lightfoot, The Who, Pink Floyd, Billy Squier, and the Guess Who. In no particular order. Classical (I love Mozart for playing with the rules and Beethoven for breaking them, Bach's double violin concerto in D minor), Opera, some New Age (Loreena McKennitt, some Enya), Musical Theater, Jazz, etc. Anything at a Karaoke Bar.

TV: Jeopardy, New Girl, Drunk History (might this be the best show ever?), Broad City (no, this is probably it...).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Humor
2. The opportunity to travel
3. A creative outlet
4. Music
5. The opportunity to be in nature
6. My family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things that I have to get done day to day, or things that I want to accomplish day to day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with friends, or at home with comfy slippers, a mug of hot tea, and a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are honest, genuine, and down to earth. If you're curious about the rest of the world. If you think that it's perfectly fine to just be silly on occasion and break into song or infuse the random Monty Python quote into conversation. If you seek out opportunities to really learn and be humbled by something. If you have a favorite word. If you like to wander. If you believe that hard, honest work is admirable. If you are a foodie.
