Hey, my name is Amanda. I am a college graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts minor in History, Education, Math and Science. I am an admissions counselor for a large university and absolutely love what I do! My friends and immediate family mean the world to me and I do not know what I would do with out them. I am a very outgoing person but can be very shy at first. With that being said, I love meeting new people.

I am on here to find people with similar interests, whether that be someone to hang out with or someone to date. On the dating side of things I am looking for long term relationships, not immediately, just knowing that the possibility is there. I am not here for any fling or one night stand. So if that was what you are looking for I am not the girl for you.

Well I will stick with the big things! As I said above I am an Assistant Director of Admissions, which has me going to high schools and community colleges to recruit students. I travel a lot and am very rarely home during the week in the fall.

Outside of work I am an advisor for the fraternity that I was a part of in college, Alpha Phi Omega. It is a co-ed service fraternity, so I like to help others out whenever and where ever I can! My brothers (yes I am a girl, but because it is co-ed and started as an all male fraternity, we are all considered brothers.) are a constant source of humor, strength, love and security for me. My family lives far away and they are always there when I need them. Joining the fraternity was one of the greatest things that I did during my college career. Without it, I would not be as open or outgoing as I am and I have definitely gained a lot of leadership experience.

I spend a lot of time with my friends. I am open to new experiences and love having a great time! Whether that be watching a movie, going to the arcade, seeing a concert or spending hours talking with friends.

Lastly I love to travel and have a long list of places that I want to visit! I am hoping to get to all 50 states. I have been to 25 so am half way there. One of my best friends just moved to Alaska so I am hoping to get there within the next year! I also want to go to England (check), Scotland (check), Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, Italy, France and Japan.

I give great head massages. Not to brag but I am willing to say that I am as good as most professional masseuses. My friends love them and ask for them all the time! :)

Volunteering and doing what I can to better the lives of others!

Books: I love to read, although finding time in my hectic schedule doesn't really allow it! I love reading childrens' books. Growing up I always wanted to be an elementary teacher and my love of children's books has remained constant. I especially love Shel Silverstein.

Other than that I love books like Angels & Demons, DaVinci Code, anything by Jennifer Weiner or Sophie Kinsella.

Movies: I LOVE movies. Everything from action to comedy to drama to chick flicks (I admit it, I love crying over a good movie:)!!) I enjoy watching movies that make you think and consider different points of view as well as those that you can just get lost in for a couple of hours. A few of my all time favorites include A League of Their Own, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter series, Disney animation and many other Disney classics and the Untouchables... there are many many more! If there are any great movies that you have seen and would like to suggest I would love to watch them so let me know!

Music: When it comes to the music I like it really depends on the mood that I am in. I appreciate many different types. I have a lot of family in the south so country seems to be in my veins. I also really love songs that you can dance to and that put you into a good mood the second that you hear them. More recently I have been getting into Dispatch, Jack, Johnson, Brett Dennon and Mathew Nathanson. Those songs seem to calm me on even the most stressful of days.

Food: All time favorites are Mexican and Italian cuisine! I am working on broadening my horizons and taste buds when it comes to different flavors and types of food. Sushi has recently become something that I love. I can't handle a lot of spicy food but am willing to try most anything once!

It changes so frequently that there is no way to even say what I am thinking from one moment to the next. Lately I have been contemplating what I want to be the next big adventure in my life. I like having something big that I can work towards while enjoying the simple things in life. I have already graduated from college and traveled to England, which were two of the biggest goals in my life. Now what can be the next goal?

just about anything. Some weeks I am so tired from work that I have a night in and just watch a movie. Other times it would be out with friends, bowling, going to local restaurants or out to the movies!

I am terrified of clowns, definitely one of my biggest fears. I was once a president.
