I am a very open minded person who enjoys just about everything from movies at home to sci-fi conventions and rennisance/sca gatherings. Movies, cards, games, hanging out, meeting new ppl, talking, camping, SCA events, crafts, cooking,dancing, darts, pool, and my son are what I spend my time on. We all have some type of baggage and none of us are perfect; however, face your past and grow from it, don't run from it. As you can tell, I am a very bold person. Some interpret this as intimidating and out of their league -ok, so I'm not everyone's cup of tea, but I welcome friends with a variety of interests and backgrounds and I am optimistically positive (although sometimes refreshingly naive) and hope to one day find that some one special to spend my life with where we share a mutual attraction mentally, physically, spiritually (not necessary religiously), and sexually. I ask for honesty and respect from friends and I ask a lot more from someone I would become involved with but I also give back joyfully what I receive with interest. Just to be clear and for future reference, my definition of a marriage is "Two people working together toward a common goal- what ever goal they choose." and I believe the rolls of a husband and wife should be determined by that couple and based in part on their individual skills and that no one roll or responsibility in a relationship is any more important than another. I ask that you be honest for if we do not like each other as we truly are, it will never work out. I would like a man who would be ready and willing to be "intimate" 24/7 well into our 80's and beyond. I am a very tactile person with much to offer but I am not looking to jump into bed after the second date. This August, I go back to school, but this time as the teacher, teaching Mathematics.

My height. I am 6'1". I am very out going and love to meet new people, try new things, and introduce new people to the things I love to do.

Books, I'm currently reading a Sarah Dunant book which i love. I also enjoy historical novels and romance novels.
Movies, almost anything but prefer to hold off on scary movies unless I have someone to grab on to.
Music? Almost anything depending on what mood I'm in. Top 40, R&B, Country, classical, kids, jazz, oldies,etc. I do not really care for all rap or heavy metal though; however, a hard beat is great to hit the gym with!
food? Just about anything and I also LOVE to cook.

My son & my friends, my optimism, my passion, my mind, my freedom as a human being including the right to bear arms, and the touch of another (hugs, kisses, cuddle, etc.).

In saying the above I would like to honestly thank the men and women who serve in the armed forces for our country.
