I am Hitler, God, and Ghandi.
My Self-Summary
I am a
taken curious
and nerdy art-minded brick in the wall who enjoys reading about
complex theories and ideas and has a serious infatuation with
b-movies.
I love music, design, literature, histories, sciences, movies,
humor, the outdoors, museums, color, love, peace, and harmony,
tolerance, open-mindedness, dreaming, traveling, observing,
partaking, whimsy, nonsense, honesty, ideation, dictionaries,
"intelligent" conversation and debates.
I dislike: small talk (too many people don't seem to know the
definition and context to what this means); those too busy, caught
up in things that don't matter; those who take the world for
granted; a large percentage of my peers; people who put themselves
up on pedestals; those who don't take time to think about the
bigger picture; people who take everything too seriously; those who
never take anything seriously; violence, ignorance, and
intolerance.
I oft tend to get stuck in a phantasmagoric dream state, draw
birds, paint colorful backgrounds, write frightening verse and
suffer the burden of short term memory problems all too
often.
So, hi there! I'm Lee.
What I’m doing with my life
Sometimes I might be doing
Chessire and sometimes I might be
wandering, chilling, or creating: art, crafting and a bit of
writing. Taking each day as it comes and trying to plan out my
future like all the other
mindless drones.
I’m really good at
Being nonsensical and losing track of time.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hair, glasses,
aloof
or confused look on face.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I declare myself
Queen of Escapism and I shall
rule over all. I will not give up my title, don't even ask; you're
going to have to invade, but I promise you will not penetrate my
defenses! Pew! Pew! Pew!
Books: I'm really quite a
bibliophile. I read mostly classics
and enjoy psychological thrillers, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi,
horror, gothic, historical, philosophy, mystery and satire. Bierce,
Camus, Hugo, Kafka, etc. I also read various magazines such as
Seed, Discover, Art in America, Popular Science, Nylon, Interview,
etc.
Movies: I love movies. Highlander, Blade Runner, Old horror and
sci-fi films, Asian horror - particularly k-horror, foreign films,
classics, all old films, really: comedy, (Laurel and Hardy, Abbott
and Costello), detective, silent, etc., aside from romance, just
not interesting to me, sorry, Godzilla/monster movies, cult films,
schlock, experimental, odd, obscure, b-movies, indie films,
documentaries, whatever is on TCM, IFC or Sundance.
Youtube. You
want to watch this. Yes you do.
Music: Music is my neighbor. Indie, new wave, art rock, foreign (no
j-pop/rock/wtf though), alternative rock, folk-pop, punk,
post-punk, various other genres, I'm into a lot of 20's to 70's, a
bit of swing and classical (of several nationalities), whatever's
good.
Playlist.
Last.fm. Do I have
better taste in music than you? Yes. But that's okay because I'm
not that big of a music snob.
Food: Vegetarian. I did it for Morrissey. Meat is murder. Go PETA!
Everyone stop eating meat and just stop all interaction with
animals. NOW!
Kidding. (Sorry, I tend to do that.)
Honestly, it's just a personal choice. I seriously couldn't care
less if you are or not.
Habanero sauce owns.
The six things I could never do without
Art utensils, good music, a good book, iced tea, carrot sticks, and
some witty banter here and there.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Various points in history, psychology, what I need to get done
instead of actually getting it done, science fiction, various
science topics, daydreaming about made up lands, people, why people
are so unhappy, art projects, writing topics, what I'm currently
reading, over all random topics.
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends, I might be out if I have a stitch to wear,
conversing, hanging out somewhere, adventuring, working, art
making, painting, drawing, writing, crafting, reading, working on
something or other with or without others and the like, you know,
stuff and things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
When in public I like to look at people I've never met,
particularly ones who are emanating a particular emotion and I
imagine their lives. I create a sixty-second history between us and
am inevitably disappointed when it comes time for one of us to
leave without having said a word nor made eye contact.
You should message me if
You don't want in my pants.
You want to guess a favorite word of mine, it begins with an I an
ends with a Y.
You're a
free-spirited
wanderer of the abstract world.
You want to talk to a free-spirited wanderer of the abstract
world.
You don't want in my pants.
You want to
giggle
over something
ridiculous.
You feel like telling someone a story.
You are well versed in nonsense.
You don't want in my pants.
You don't want in my pants... unless you are
Chessire
Don't worry, I don't bite. I do, sometimes, however, make angry
faces.
