My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"... We think you are crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us: in the simplest terms and most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question?"

OK, so I stole that from The Breakfast Club. But it fits. I think you can get a pretty good sense of me from the rest of my profile without me saying "I am like this" or "I have this characteristic". If not, message me and I can fill in the blanks.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology. Hoping to go to grad school this spring. I would love to work in a hospital setting, but will probably end up either in human resources or the school system. As of now, I work in the restaurant business doing a bit of everything (bartending, serving, shift management).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty kickass father if I do say so myself. But other people say I am a good listener. Also if you are looking for a cheesy comment or a cheap laugh, I'm your guy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not exactly sure. I'd rather my intellect or humor stand out rather than my physical features. I'm not just a piece of meat :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't read as much as I should or want to, but I am trying to work on that.

I love movies. Pretty much anything but horror. Bonus points if it has John Cusack, Seth Rogen, or Edward Norton in it. As far as TV goes, I hate all the "reality" shows like whatever Kardashian thing is on now, Jersey Shore (stupidest show ever), and Real Housewives of Whereever. I do enjoy Entourage, The Office, Scrubs, Dexter, Freaks and Geeks, It's Always Sunny in Phildaelphia, Weeds, Eastbound and Down, Workaholics, South Park, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, The Sopranos, Rescue Me, Dawson's Creek.

Musically, I love hip hop. I have seen Lupe Fiasco four times, Wiz Khalifa three times, Kanye West twice, J Cole twice, Talib Kwali twice, Nas twice, Damian Marley, N.E.R.D, Tech N9ne, Mac Miller, B.o.B, Young Jeezy, The Roots, and Nappy Roots live. I also like pop-punk typish stuff (seen Yellowcard, seen Paramore, Something Corporate/Jack's Mannequin, Taking Back Sunday, Sugarcult, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, etc.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My son, my cellphone, my car, lots of sleep, the ability to reason, humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What makes people tick, where my life will be in 5 years, how to fit a "that's what she said" into whatever is going on around me... pretty random stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually working (perk of being in the hospitality field). But I do like to go out occasionally. Though I would never object to staying in and cuddling up with a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Possibly that my most crowning achievement is that I have my picture on the walls of two restaurants for eating obnoxiously large items of food (Daddy's Dog House in Westbend, Wisconsin and The Summit in Galena, Illinois)

Is this the part where I list all the disqualifying factors for a potential mate? Well that just seems rude..

I have noticed that usually I am the one that sends the first message. But you should message me if you feel bold enough to make the first move, are intrigued by anything I have written, if you would like to get to know me better, or if you'd just like to drop a line and say "Hi".
