I'm a passionate and often sarcastic woman living in a criminally underrated city. I have a solid idea of what I'm looking for and if you're overly religious, Republican, judgmental or shallow, it probably won't work out. Sorry, but it's Dallas - you'll find someone else who's into all that :)

I work in the music industry, which means I travel, listen to music all the time and have a collection that is getting out of control. I'm also a HUGE soccer fan. I play and watch frequently and am a Gooner for life! Also an FC Dallas fan.

I'm not religious but very in tune with myself and my relationships with others, very liberal but I love my country and have tremendous respect for our military and multiracial and tolerant of others' beliefs. I feel I'm a pretty well-rounded and very grounded person, and I'm very happy with my life. It would be fantastic to meet someone on the same page!

Working...a lot. Traveling when I can. Then a lot of soccer, yoga, some Pilates & spending time with my exceptional friends.

I would love to meet someone who is more outdoorsy as that's something that's been sorely lacking for me recently.

Useless trivia and music recognition. Expressing myself honestly (for better or worse). I'm also typically good about keeping my cool in extremely uncool situations.

It's hard to say, depends on where I am. If I'm out walking, it's usually my adorable dog & new puppy, my badass sidekicks!

My tastes are all over the map, but here goes...

I love to read. I love Neil Gaiman, George RR Martin and so many more. Just starting Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

I'm pretty all over the place musically and wouldn't want it any other way! Rock, jazz, electropop, "hipster" indie, old soul & R&B, classic rock, hip-hop, neo-soul and...almost anything but house music and dubstep. Recently into: Toro y Moi, Kendrick Lamar, the xx, Justin Timberlake, David Bowie, Pixies, Bobby Womack, Grizzly Bear, Local Natives, Kanye, Mumford & Sons, Esperanza Spalding, etc...

I'm not a huge movie fan, but I like well-developed TV series (see: most things on HBO and Showtime) or a good documentary. But I am into almost any movie that Tarantino has been involved with - Django Unchained was incredible!

Food and I are very, very good friends. When I'm at home, I eat mostly like a health nut. When I go out, I like to try new and exotic foods: Thai, S. American, African, Japanese (LOVE sushi), Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Cajun/Creole, Caribbean, Indian. And Southern/soul food & Tex-Mex, of course :)

I was a psych major and have had a lifelong fascination with people and why they do the things they do. Sometimes this is endlessly entertaining and heartwarming and inspiring, sometimes terribly depressing. So I prefer to be around people who exhibit the former, obviously!

I also have a slight obsession with Neil deGrasse Tyson, so that's on my mind a lot too.

Out. Or sometimes in. But usually out.

I have the blessing/curse of being "one of the guys". Thank you sports & music male-dominated cultures! But I wear dresses almost consistently when it's warm and am fully capable of conducting myself like a lady :)

You like to laugh and you think you can make me laugh. If you've read what I've written here. If people respect you more often than not. If you're constantly growing as an individual.
