My self-summary
Hi! I'm a recent college graduate (English Literature). I tend
to be quiet- I like reading, drawing and especially writing. I'm
pretty even-tempered, and I get along well with others, but I don't
like crowds. Most of the time, I'm in my own little world- but,
they do like me there.

What I’m doing with my life
Not surprisingly, the english major dreams of being a successful
writer. But, until that happens, I'll be looking for a plain old
boring job. Such is life.
I’m really good at
Writing,
obviously. I always have something I'm working on. Also, reading- I can read a
regular sized novel in a couple of days. Another thing I'm good at
is looking at things
differently, and usually I can find a solution.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have orange
hair. Not just coppery-brown, but most of the time, it's
downright orange. It lightens in the summer a bit, but still... and
I like my hair, which is weird, I know. I have freckles, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to name! I love Star Trek and Star Wars, Indiana Jones movies (especially
the Last Crusade), Oldies music (really, anything from the
fifties to the early eighties), and admit a slight *cough*
addiction to coffee. It's nothing, really.
The six things I could never do without
(1) A book, a good one, preferably (2) coffee, see above (3)pen and
paper, for writing down ideas (4) my glasses, a practicality, since
I can't see without them (5) peanut butter, in all forms, but
especially peanut butter cups (6) my laptop, for keeping organized
all the crazyness in my head.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Not so much thinking, as writing. A good writer can use anything
for inspiration, so I try to observe things as I go, and store them
for future use. Of course, there are times where my mind wanders
and I start to daydream. That could be about anything.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home. Sad, I know. But, I'm not much of a party person. I enjoy
my solitude, even on "date night".
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still have a stuffed animal that I sleep with. It's a rabbit, in
a white dress, and I got her for my second birthday, from my aunt.
She's been with me a long time. She's gone through the airport
metal detectors (decades ago), through the US postal system, and
through all four years of college with me.
I’m looking for
- Everybody
- Ages 22–46
- Located anywhere
- For new friends, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You'd like to chat. I'm much better at written communication than
verbal, so sending computerized messages is right up my alley. I'm
willing to talk about anything, but the geekier things will be more
interesting, I'm sure. So, Trekkies, Jedi, Browncoats or comic
buffs, drop me a note.
