I am compassionate, optimistic, and quirky.
My Self-Summary
Hi! My name's Amber. I live in a small town, so it's a little hard
for me to meet new people. I enjoy watching
movies, reading
books, listening to
music, and goofing off with my friends. I
love to perform. Through high school I was involved with the drama
department, the marching band, and the dance team. Ironically, I'm
a very shy person. I can handle large groups of people with ease,
but the fewer people there are the more self conscious I become.
However, once I'm around a person for a while it's easy for me to
make close friends out of them. I'm on here mostly out of
curiousity and boredom. Lol. My best friend,
CariDee_09, is on here too!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm going to college right now. I want to work in healthcare. I'm
considering becoming an x-ray technician.
I’m really good at
Marching- I won
the award for best marcher at my school two years in a row. I know
it's not the most impressive thing to other people, but I'm a band
geek so it meant alot to me.
Dancing- I was
co-captain of my school's dance team, so I'm great with
choreographed routines. However, I'm usually too shy to dance at
parties. My old dance team performed high-kick, hip-hop, lyrical,
jazz, pom, and prop.
Acting- I started
participating in drama club my freshman year. I'm not sure if I'm a
good actress or if lately I just fit alot of the main parts well. I
usually had to play some one sophisisticated. I've played a
principal, a wig maker, Claree (I didn't actually get to play her
though, our performance of Steele Magnolas was cancelled when one
of the leads moved away), Mrs. Claus, and Baroness Katerina
Stephanoski(Dracula's widow who of course had a very strong russian
accent, it took forever for me to develop an accent I liked).
Playing the flute- I've played the flute for seven years. Most
people think I'm a really good flute player, unless they are flute
players themselves. :)
Writing- I used to be a great writer, but I'm definitely out of
practice. It was rare for me to make anything lower than an A on an
essay. Usually, I could pull up a grade in any class with ease if I
could write an essay for the teacher.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmmm... I guess I'll just list the odd things people who I haven't
known long have complimented me on.
*My teeth. Very few have said anything about my smile, but they
always tell me I have really white, straight teeth.
*My feet. Ya, it's a very odd thing to be complimented on. I have
people comment on my feet more than anything else. I'm guessing
it's because they're so small, I wear a size 6. Even people who
claim to dislike feet think that mine are pretty.
*My walk. I had a very pretty walk, because I went to modeling
school for a while. Then I got into marching band, so it's not as
graceful as it once was but I still get a few compliments on
it.
*My caring nature. I don't know how I give off this vibe, though I
don't have a problem with being percieved this way. People say the
first thing they noticed about my personality was how sweet and
caring I was. Most people say I remind them of Alice Cullen,
because of my personality and style.
*My sense of style. People usually love or hate what I wear, but
that's not a problem because I'll be wearing something completely
different the next day. I don't stick to one stereotype. I love
changing things up. Don't think that I'm obsessed with expensive
fashion, because really it's the opposite. I won't buy something
unless it's a good deal.
*My eyebrows. Strange, huh? I hate my eyebrows, but recently
someone told me they were pretty.
*My nails. People usually think I'm wearing false nails and have a
french manicure, but actually it's my natural nails.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food

*Sweeney Todd
*Meet the Parents/Meet the Fockers

Music:
My musical preferences are VERY ecletic. LOL. I LOVE rock, pop,
dance, and classical music. I like hip-hop if it tells a story,
makes me laugh, or makes me want to dance. Please don't shoot me

On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with my friends or at home reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
This isn't exactly private, but it's embarassing. As far as walking
is concerned, I'm the most graceful and poised person you will ever
meet. However, for every ounce of grace I have when walking I have
an equal amount of clumsiness when handling things. Earlier this
year, I managed to give myself a concussion using my car door.
Apparently, I slammed the door and didn't think to move my big head
out of the way beforehand. LOL.
You should message me if
You want to talk, have any questions, or just think I'm cute.
However, I'd prefer people closer to my age. Maybe between 18 and
21, but that's not set in stone. :)
